Does anyone know if the U 94 xanax bar is real or from some other country? ## Just because a medication is from a foreign country doesn't mean that it's fake or of lesser quality. There are instances where that does happen, but it's not very common. As to this tablet, it is manufactured by Pfizer Worldwide and they are a very reputable company, this is the division they use for their foreign trade, so this one isn't available in the U.S. However, it does contain 2mgs of Alprazolam, the active ingredient in Xanax. I have a freind that has taken 12 xanex bars he has taken 8 in the past. He is very troubled and I want to know how much can a body take when they are use to taking so many at a time. ## here is the deal. benzos react wtih your GABA receptors. and taking that many bars is NOT good for your brain chemistry because it alters it. Meaning your GABA receptors wont fire liek you use to due to the receptor expecting some sort of drug. So if no drugs come than the GABA receptors cant produce naturally the right dose. I have been prescribed Xanax 1mg for 20 years by my family physician. Out of the clear blue he is now sending me to a psychiatrist. I also suffer from severe anxiety and panic attacks. I am now having attacks out of fear of seeing a new doctor who may or may not prescribe them. I know they cannot cut them out cold turkey but just afraid. I know people who are prescribed 2mg. I have a peach-ish colored bar. It has the R039 on it but doesn't taste like anything and I've never seen a xanax like this before. Its real skinny and an off-white peach color. Hi...I'm looking at the list of side effects and it doesn't state nightmares...lol. But if i take over 2mg i get nightmares. I took 3mg by accident again tonight and had a horrible nightmare. I just moved here and i have ra along with degenerative disc disorder that is extremely painful. I dont have a doc. so i haven't been taking any meds and it is hard to just walk. Washed a whole 3rd of xanax 2mg in the washer. I forgot they were in my pocket until I took the clothes out. Now they're all powder. Is it safe to take? ## @Aline, In all honesty I think it be safest to just dispose of those powdery pills. After being in the washer they were exposed and saturated with chemical laden laundry detergent and grey water (i.e. not suitable for drinking). Rec'd international mail today with Xanax 10 mg manufactured by: Zolt with blister packs of 10 pills from India. The pill is white oblong scored one side and nothing on the other. It says Zolpidem Tartrate Tablets IP, states each film coated tablet contains Zolpidem Tartrate IP, excipients q.s. . There is another manufacture name on it Agile and Ind-Swift Limited, 781 Ind Area Phase II (or H) hard to read. Got my generic Xanax prescription filled (Alprazolam, 1 MG tabs) today. They are blister packed from India and are GREEN with no inscriptions on either side of the pill. Anyone familiar with these and are they common or do they seem to be safe? ## This is an issue that has come up a lot recently, I advise you to be very careful.
