This particular pill had different side effects vs every other xanax I have been prescribed. It literally messed up my taste buds so badly that everything I drank for up to 24 hours after taking tasted absolutely disgusting. I'm not sure why this happened because I have been taking this medication for my tachycardia for years now. Just wondering if this is safe? Ive been on this medication for 3 years off and on. I use to be prescribed the 0.5 mg tablets but my anxiety got better so my dr decreased my dose. Ive been taking the 0.25 mg for months now and it doesnt help my anxiety,so wondering if safe to take two at a time ## You shouldn't double up on this medicine as you would run out quicker and face possible withdrawal issues. Hello, I just moved to North Dakota two weeks ago and I have a prescription for Xanax. I filled my prescription on the 27th of July 2015 and am due for a refill on the 26th this month (August 2015). I live in a small town, Scranton, ND and the closest pharmacy to me is in Bowman, ND, about 13 miles away, and from what I have been told, the prices at the pharmacy there are extremely overpriced. Currently I am unemployed and cannot afford the prices I have heard that they have, so I'm going to have to travel to Dickinson, ND, around an hour away from where I live, at their local Wal Mart to get a refill. I took half at first and felt nothing 30 mins later and then took the other half which equals a full bar (2mg). i felt nothing at all, completely sober.. i can usually take half a bar (1mg) and feel good.. if i take a full bar (2mg) i usually forget everything the next day. were they fake since i felt nothing? i looked it up and it looks the way it should and taste like normal xanax. ## I was on xanax for many years. I've been taking dava brand xanax for a year, the 0.5 mg. This batch I got recently has a strong chemical taste and odor to them and taste horrible than the usual I would get. Did anybody else run into this problem with dava brand? ## Perhaps they are very fresh right from an unopened container giving them that smell. I have just been changed to this brand in two mg pills. Light green in a bar shape. I though it was ok at first but it gets hot here in Kansas but I can take it. I began to notice a very high intolerance to the humidity. After about a week if stepped outside I started feeling sick. Later if I stepped into the sun I became very ill. Would like to know if there are any fake xanax white with G3722? ## @tky69, There are actually several reports of these fake xanax making their way around certain parts of the country. Apparently they are using similar pill press machines that impart the same imprint and size... However, from what I've heard, the "G" on the fake tablets is said to be "rounded off" and not shaped like a stop sign as it appears on the real ones. That's the only discrepancy I'm currently aware of between the two; but perhaps someone else here will have more specific details to add to that.
