Where has this all of a sudden refills of Xanax 1mg, Diazepam 10mg and 5mg appeared from a manufacturer called Gen X Pharma? Has anyone else noticed? I can only imagine that the 2mg tablets are going to be pretty potent if you've never taken Xanax before; as 2mg is a high dose of this particular drug. Unfortunately the only way to know for sure would be to try it; simply because these medications can affect each individual differently. If you find that 2mgs is too strong, you can always divide the pill into smaller doses to help assess your tolerance. Help!!! I am an elderly lady who has been taking Xanax in what I thought were the smallest doses for insomnia and addiction. Now, I am aware that my habituation/addiction seems to have taken over my life. I have read a lot about titrating but hopefully need a buddy to help me through this. I don't know where to turn. Son is 24 and has high anxiety, was through chemo many years ago, things not the same. Dr here in Phoenix area we went to gave him xanex and then said to that Zoloft. No way in he is taking that. He only wants like 1 pill every couple of days or so. This is an extremely talented individual that has had a serious lack of motivation and energy since going through the chemo and radiation. Dr. prescribed and wouldn't refill without ANOTHER $75 appointment and said he would need to do that monthly or even less. Said it's controlled substance.
