I almost always get Dava Xanax bars, the green ones with s 90 3 on them and they seem to be softer in the past. Now the same ones that I get look identical but may be a lil skinnier not 100% sure. But they look exactly the same. They r just hard as hell. Some of it will disolve but it seems like the middle part won't. They r way harder to break into three pieces but they take five minutes to dissolve in your mouth. I'm scared to death. I've been on 8mgs of xanax for 7 years and on 4mgs of klonopin for 2 years before that. As my tolerance grew so did my need for more xanax but 8mgs is the highest amount allowed to be prescribed. I've tried almost every drug to help with sleep before and nothing worked. I had a doctor that never saw me and all I had to do was pick up my prescription. I never thought I'd lose him. I'm now physically addicted and dependent on xanax. Approx. 20yrs ago I was prescribed Xanax 1mg by my PCP. I had recently had a child and began having severe anxiety and panic attacks. This medication WORKS for me...the anxiety is under control- racing thoughts, worried all the time, horrible anxiety while driving, etc. Last year I started to see articles related to Xanax and- I believe- the FDA coming down on physicians who prescribe as it seems they are being abused by some patients. I need to get my script filled with the g3722 instead of other generics. please it's the only medicine that helps me with my severe anxiety and my pharmacy didn't refill it for me because my insurance doesn't cover it. Bad heart. Few yrs back had the normal 4-5 stints and then a 4way bypass. About 6 months later they put in a pacemaker defibrillator. Nothing abnormal for almost 2 yrs and then running late for a plane, behind packing, suitcase broke, etc I was driving to airport and bam took a defib shock. Thought I had been hit by another car. Then took a second shock about 3 minutes later. Well the 50K defib had saved my life. But a new problem took hold. I was basically dying and being shocked back about every other month from then on. Is there a way measure the pill to determine if its a fake or not? Because, there is a tablet with the marking GG 249 that contains 2mgs of Alprazolam, the active ingredient in Xanax. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. ## If you got them from India they are a painkiller called Tydol (brand name) being advertised by quality cures as Xanax generic. If your Doctor changed your medication or added some more, even though they are in the same family it should be allowed ## What Eddy said is correct, usually a change in the dosage, or medication itself is allowed, but your pharmacist should be able to let you know for sure, since these are controlled substances, it might be different.
