I recently moved to Gadsden area and I am looking for a good PCP that is not judgmental and/or a psychiatrist that is not afraid to right scripts to treat anxiety and ADHD. My previous PCP managed my symptoms with Xanax, Adderall and Oxycodone but from what I have heard most docs in AL do not write meds to help and send you to all kinds of specialist. I get xanax 1mg perscribed to me. On the lable it says take 1 to 2 a day as needed. I only receive 50 pills. I got it filled on 7.17 and today is 8.12. I use gateway insurance at a CVS pharmacy. It has been 26 days if i am correct. That means if i take 1 pill a day thats 26 out of 50, 1.5 pill a day is 39 out of 50 and at 2 a day thats 52 out of 50. Well wait, if i only have 50 pills, i cant take 52, which by refill date would 60 pills. I have 2 refills left, i was wondering if i would have a problem getting them refilled, i have read insurance goes by the percentage of pills left. I apologize I know the Internet is FLOODED with fake xanax questions, but i can't seem to find a good answer. Lately I've been getting White G3723. I tested myself on a 4 panel and didn't fail for anything but thc (benzodiazepines weren't on the test). The bars are 15mm in length, the G has angles to it like a stop sign and they basically match every visual comparison of an authentic 2mg greenstone bar. My concerns: -Dissolves very quickly in water -Not extremely bitter, but I slightly taste the notorious Xanax taste -They feel weak even though I have a tolerance, but still make me calm. My guess is these might be "perfected" or new bars without the drunk feeling, ignorance, etc, because I'm aware greenstone changed their formula in 2014. Thoughts? Thank you....

Chronic pain in knees, elbows, neck (also degeneration). Holding down a job with this pain is impossible. Interfers with sleep, walking, standing, just plain daily living. I have a disabled child (5 yrs. & 70 lbs.) and has to be lifted. Pain from doing this is unbearable. Depression is a real problem. No doctor will treat me, have no insurance or money. I am prescribed percocet, oxycontin, xanax, and adderall. I had a lower back injection done that I had a reaction to causing SEVERE PAIN AND UTI. I had NORCO left from previous Dr about 4 months prior. On my visit this month I had taken the Norco because pain was so bad. My nurse did a drug urine test on that day. So, I have been seeing a PA for a about a year now. I recently told him my anxiety has been flaring up due to grad school and tons of group projects and presentations. I went to a psychiatrist years ago and was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and was prescribed klonipin or xanax consistently until I simply couldn't afford to see them anymore. It was a 50 dollar copay and they wanted me to come in every month, I just couldn't afford it. My current primary care doc (or PA rather) told me that he is not allowed to prescribe benzos anymore bc they have cracked down in NC. Is this true? Or does he just not want to bother. Should I try to find a better primary care doctor, or is this indeed true in NC and I should simply look for a cheap psychiatrist just for the anxiety? ...

I have severe anxiety attacks and an insomniac. I literally pull an all nighter once a week. I am prescribed klonopin but i have too much anxiety for it to work fast enough. I need something stronger and faster. I am aware of all the effects as well as my parents. I just need a recommendation of a doctor who is at least not against prescribing it if they feel, which they will, I need script.
