I been on Xanax now going on 7 years prescribed for Agoraphobia, any how the Doc prescribes me the 2mg Xanax and fortunately at the pharmacy they give the blue footballs but i have a tendency to pop em rather fast so i have to end up borrowing a few from a person and the ones i borrow are the white 2mg round mylan a4 and i really like the happy feeling those produce!

this is a ture statement ive been on xanax 4 6 yrs and the a4 always kick ass the only ones i would not take are the green bars that say s 90 3 they suck

your post is old Sept of 2010, regarding your question of "IFA" tab from Mexico, "alprazolam" is manufactured legally under the "trade names" of Alzam, Farmapram,
Irizz, Neupax, and Tafil. In Mexico it is a Group II control substance. I do not have the answer you are seeking.

However, there is a pharma mfg in Mexico, that is called,
INV Pharna, SA de C.V. Reg #75015, that produces the benzo "Diazepam" commercially known as IFA Fonal Tabetas, of Diazepam, in 2mg, 5mg, and 10mg. Also, IFA Pharma, Reg # 420M2001, SSAII, also used to manufacture, "Farmapram" (alprazolam) in 0.25mg, 0.50mg, and one milligram Tabeletas mfg also known, as,Investigacion Farmaceutica, S.A. de C.V. with plants in Mexico, "Calle 13 Este Num, 5 CIVAC, 62500 Jiutepec,

I have no experience of ordering Group II controlled meds from Mexico, since a one shot deal, in the year, 2008, by the former IOP medicinegallery.com, which was closed down, in a very widely publicized DEA bust, in October of that year. That particular, pharmacy, had been under survelliance, by USA & the Mexican Federal Police, for one year, collecting evidence, a web site, that existed for 7 or 8 years. According to the US government website,dea.gov, subtitled drug diversion, that is where I read about the indictments, covering 1 dozen individuals, many, in the state of Utah, others, in Mexico.
Don't have a clue, if how much was true, how much was propaganda, but, my single order, in the Spring of 2008, arrived, of Roche Valium in sealed Blister Packs, most authentic looking to me, even, with, the outline of a pregnant female on the rear side of the bright aluminum blister pack, & red "X" , back in 2008, with a expiration date of
1 Sept 2012. Figuring in my tolerance issues, which is debatable, I compared, a Mexican 10mg alleged bona fide Roche Valium 10mg, to my Dentist, small script of 5 mg of Roche, "V-cut" Valium "5mg" and the USA version, was, equally as strong, as any of the 10 mg blue solid Valium's I ordered. IMHO, a cut of binders and fillers of at least 50%
the DEA website, yrs ago, stated, MS/GS tests, consistently showed, traces of the core elements, in all of this former IOP's products, but, WAS NOT THE ADVERTISED MG. ONE WAS PAYING FOR. Examples, were from Pfizer Viagra, to Parke Davis Lipitor, (atorvastatin calicum) to multiple benzo's. Thus, nearly all would pass a urine test, with some ingredient, but, many were vastly watered down. I experienced the same thing.
Update, my face to face experience, in the luxury resort of Los Cabos, Mexico, Feb, 2012, all I wll say, is, that,
Pfizer Tafil, Roche Valium, Roche Rivotril, and Sanofi Stillnox, "were available" at a minority of pharmacias, but not sold over the counter, and, the product quality, was, very disappointing, "without a USA + Mexican prescription,
IMHO, counterfeiting, is so rampant in Mexico, it is like the Wild West, in the 1800's in the USA. Example, a strip of 10 Tafil blister pack pills, 1 mg. costs, $4.00 apiece, in US Dollars, if you find a co-operating Pharmacists, "without a script", and, I felt they were so watered down, (i am no chemist) that, I'd be surprised, if they had 20% content, of the active ingredient. In the medicinemexico.com case, the meds were being imported inside the USA, and were always shipped, from the West Coast of the USA to the consumer via the former USA DHL courier, delivered to your door. "Be careful" is my advice. Also, a new law in Mexico, has slowed down the post services, dramatically, and beginning November of 2011, allegedly, all packages, and letters were being inspected, vs. the former 1 in 10.
Finally, there are legit meds, full strength, but one has to jump thru several hoops, plus, more hoops, to re-enter the USA, and to depart Mexico, regarding my 2012 visit to a resort in Southern Baja California.

This data, came from my Psychiatrist office, on "once daily Xanax XR by Pfizer, printed on October 2003, with the insert to the advertisement, printed by Pharmacia and Upjohn Company in January of 2003, Kalamazoo, Michigan. "how supplied" quote..............

0.5mg white pentagonal-shaped tablets debossed with a "X" on one side, and a 0.5 on the other side.

1mg (yellow square-shaped tablets with a "X" on one
side and "1" on the other side.

2mg (blue, round-shaped tablets debossed with an "X"
on one side and "2" on the other side.

3mg. (green, triangular-shaped tablets debossed with
a "X' on one side and a "3" on the other side.

All in bottles of sixty. more quotes "store at 77 degrees, excursions, permitted to 59 degrees to 86 degrees F. The inactive ingredients are lactose, magnesium seerate, colloidal silicon dioxide, and hypomellose.unquote.

IMHO, this formulation, has been controversial, since its introduction, "the XR version" and again IMHO, the sales volume from yearly statistics, has not come close to the immense popularity, of the mid 1980's release of patented Upjohn original Xanax, and, now, its, generic,
versions.

Acccording to Verispans Vector One National Reports
Xanax XR, was not listed in the top 200 selling "Brand Name RX Drugs" (if it was still under patent in 2008),
while, no 8 alprazolam, was documented with the eighth top selling generic ethical pharmaceutical in the USA at 43,585,790 total number of prescriptions written 1/01/08 thru 12/31/08. "the only controlled substance that outsold it (generically) was no 1 ........

. As i continue to wean myself from 2MG per day to 1/2 sometimes 1. .with breathing treatments ive been doing fine. ....and quit smoking 6 yrs now with no help.And with the lost of my mother in 2010 u would think i would have such an excuse. I know everyone have different issues but anxiety is more of a reallity than a mentallity just my feelings because u cant wean yourself off of mentallity...impossible...I refuse to let any drug control me. .I control the drug. Along with 2 cervical surgery and no meds. ...God Bless Me! !!! Just funny but sad. . some post sounds like there talking about candy.This is a serious drug not candy. Keep wondering why the size shapes and color suddenly change. The government themselves are weaning u off. ..

3mg A DAY IS Pretty bad, your asking to make yourself psychopathic, because that drug is strong i take it and its the worst withdrawals ever, they never go away once youve taken enough like me, your always edgy and moody, trust me from experience ;)

Just so everybody knows, generic meds can be up to 20% stronger or weaker by law from the original. Common sense says it will be weaker from original for generic companies to save money. I definitely notice these are the weakest generics and these ARE NOT time release from what I've read. Walmart carries these, so don't fill your script there if you do not want mylam. Walgreens has yellow "bars" and I go to Costco for best price on white "bars". Hope this helps a little

First off, the diff. Between 4 .25 Xanax and a 2 mg bar/pill. So 8 .25 =2 mg. hope that helped

I usually take 2-3mg's of alprazolam and get completely blitzed out of my mind ( keep in mind I take 15mgs of methadone everyday as well) and recently I came across 12 a4 mylan .25 white Xanax pills and after eating them all at one time, I could almost swear I felt absolutely nothing. I don't care if their 20% less potent than non generic Xanax I didn't feel s***. Never buy mylan Xanax, I honestly thing some may b duds and they just haven't been caught yet. Stick with footballs and bars. They never fail

My mom occasionally takes 0.5 mgs. She has two different bottles, one says Alprazolam and the other says the same but also says "tablet MYL" on it. She thinks the one without the MYL works better even though it's an older script. After reading a bunch of posts, it seems that the MYL just stands for the name of the company (Mylan). Am I correct?

Finally, the appetite suppressant, Diethylpropion hydrochloride, called "Tenuate Dospan" in Australia & Canada.
