Hello we currently live in Florida. My husband and I have severe anxiety and get prescribed Xanax. Any Drs around Knoxville area that will prescribe it? We will be living near Clinton. We will drive for a Dr! Thanks

Hey , there - can you please let me in on who your doctor is - I need help really bad. I have bad anxiety and panick attacks-have social anxiety and PTSD - I go to a Suboxone Dr so I know how hard it is to get anything written when being prescribed those but surely someone can help me with Klonopin - don't you think. Can you help me out and I'm willing to get off my Suboxone if can get prescription for anxiety meds - I can't even go outside actually my sub Dr is online. Plz help me

There is no such thing as a Xanax doctor and there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you.

Technically, it can be prescribed by any licensed medical doctor, however, due to some new regulations that were put in place this year in order to try to cut down on improper prescribing and over prescribing, general practitioners and surgeons have new guidelines to follow regarding what they can prescribe.

Thus, in most cases you'll need to see a specialist to be prescribed a medication such as this.

Do you currently have PCP that could refer you to someone?
