Xanax And Sertraline

I have sertraline, the pill has an imprint if IG on one side and 214 on the other. It is oblong and a very light yellow color. I have read something about the two being the same. So is Xanax and Sertraline the same thing?

No, they are not the same.

However, Xanax is a benzodiazepine, so while it can treat similar conditions, it carries the risk of being habit forming could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
