Would Any Of The Following Cause Benzos To Show Up In A Drug Test For A Job I M On Zoloft 50mg Lisinopril 20mg And Benadryl Along With Hydroxyzine

I'm being treated for depression and panic attacks and anxiety disorders. I feel like I may not get this job that would mean so much for me and my well being to get me out of this rut....what should I do?

If benzos ate a no no, I'm not sure they will let me work for the company. I'm not crazy or anything, things just happen in life that may require medication and not fair that a drug test can keep me from doing something I love :-( especially prescribed by my Dr.....

Absolutely not!!! All the medication you listed you are on are NOT BENZOS !! THEREFOR IT WOULD BE INPOSSIBLE TO BE HOT FOR BENZOS !! ONLY IF YOU TOOK DRUGS LIKE XANAX, KLONOPIN, VALIUM, DRUGS LIKE THE 3 I LISTED YOU WOULD COME UP HOT FOR BENZOS ! BUT DONT BE MISTAKEN WHEN URIN IS SENT TO A LAB THEY CAN TELL EXSACTALLY WHICH BENZO YOU ARE ON AND SOME ARE BARBITUATES WHICH ARE ALL IN THE SAME FAMILY !! I have been on klonopin for 6 years now I take 1mg 4x a day and it controlls my anexiety and panic disorder I also have explosive disorder.so I am well educated in this feild . Hopefully I have helped you with your question .

Are you SERIOUS?? The question was could they show up as being positive for a benzo on a drug test!! Do some research BEFORE trying to make someone look foolish. The "ABSOLUTELY NOT" s*** was uncalled for- and the ANSWER IS: YES, it CAN show up as a Benzo- on a drug test.

Actually, you happen to be wrong. As what was listed are NOT on the "Benzo List", benadryl AND the vysteril (hydroxazine) CAN gice a FALSE POSITIVE FOR BENZO's !!!! Dont be a jerk!

Hi!! Hydroxizine (Vysteril) is an antihistamine used for a lot of different things from itching to anxiety. It CAN give you whats called a "false positive" for benzos, and if this happens, you tell them to have this "confirmed" which then the lab goes back and will decipher exactly WHAT it was that was taken...benadryl (also an antihistamine) can do the same thing..you JUST SAY that you took an antihistamine in a cold med or wwhatever... Look up the Ashton Manual! I truly do not think doctors know about these benzodiazepines..they are evil. They were in my system for 3 months without taking anything and my withdrawal was so bad I had to get back on them.
