Can I use fluconazole to treat a vaginal infection? I have a bad smell coming from this region after having my menses. ## This medication is used to treat fungal infections, such as a vaginal year infection, which does not cause such an odor, according to the symptoms listed by the NIH. An odor is usually caused by a bacterial infection, which will require an antibiotic from your doctor. I have been diagnoised with PCOD 5 years back. Before 3 years, i had undergone laproscopic surgery for Rt. Ovary Torsion where the Rt. ovary was also treated for cysts. After this laproscopic surgery, i am facing endometriosis problem - irregular periods, heavy and non-stop bleeding. I was given harmone tablets for the last 3 years (Regestrone, Primolut-N). Hello. I want to know which colour pill do I start with if I started my period today. I never used oralcon and was on the deposit provera. So I don't know how to take it. I've been taking Covaryx HS the generic brand EEMT for about 2 weeks and wanted to know if I were gonna experience side effects when would they start? I have went pee several times today with no problem. It's now evening here and I just went pee again and felt very irritated in my vaginal area. It was irritated with a slight burn so I decided to look and see what's going on, went and got the mirror and noticed that my vulva was swollen, red and irritated. I do not have pain it's just an uncomfortable feeling. Idk if this could be a side effect from the medicine. There is no odor or discharge, just uncomfortable. Hello. I have the Jadelle implant. Today I went in to get provera to stop spotting. On the provera information sheet it says to use other non-hormonal forms of contraception. Does this apply to the Jadelle? My question is if I have the jadelle implant and I take the provera, do I have to use any other form of contraception? (I'm in a long term monogamous relationship with a proven clean partner). I hope it's not too silly a question.

I am bleeding 9-10 days before period starts. The bleeding is brown, sometimes brown dry spotting or is brown and wet. It is light to medium bleeding. Enough to use a pantyliner. I get achy type of PMS pain and my ovary areas feel sensitive. I feel slightly fatigued. So it is similar PMS pain but to a lesser extent. This bleeding lasts about 1-3 days. What hormones of mine are off? Does ortho evra patch the reason for this? My real period comes on time, regular cycle of 28 days and lasts 4 days. Hi, i have recently been prescribed norgestimate eth-estradiol and i have never taken BCP, so i am confused about when to start because its already been 10 days after my last period. ## You can start them at any time, however, if they aren't started on the first day of your menstrual cycle, then you will need to use additional protection for the first 7 days, before they will become effective at preventing pregnancy. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I'm taking Tri-Linyah (ethinyl estradiol + norgestimate). Do I continue to take the inactive pills after my period has started?

I was put on norethindrone when I was approx. 45 (11 years ago) to stop extremely heavy periods, in an attempt to avoid a hysterectomy. The drug worked well...I haven't had a period in the last 11 years. Problem is my endometrial lining has increased (I was evaluated - no problem) so a good suggestion was made to stop taking the norethindrone. I may be in menopause but diagnostics can't tell because the drug masks what's going on. I've been off norethindrone for a week today. No bleeding, cramps or anything. Just wonder if anyone else has been through this before. It's hard to find any data on the internet and the doctors don't really seem to understand effects from long term use. I was taking nexito plus for one year. I stopped it in december. Two months later I got pregnant in february. Is there any harm to my baby? ## Not if it was 2 months later when you became pregnant, but it is always best to inform your doctor that you were taking it previously, just to be safe. Congratulations on the pregnancy! Are you on any medications currently?

My doctor advised me to take Ecosprin 75 mg. From what I've read on the Internet, using Ecosprin in the first trimester is not safe, but now I'm 8 weeks pregnant... What can I do? ## It is actually not safe to take during the third trimester, according to the NIH. Otherwise, you should follow your doctor's instructions, as it is sometimes given to help increase blood flow to the baby. Hi. My OBGYN put me on medroxyprogesterone 10mg for 10 days to regulate my period because I was on the Depo shot. I got my period after 4 days of taking the pills. My period lasted for 7 days. Can I get pregnant now that I have had my period? #curious

I have been trying to take HRT to help with my menopausal food allergies. The last one I tried was Prempro .3/1.5. I stopped it after only one pill because it caused bad heart palps and headaches. That was two days ago, and I am still dealing with the headaches and heart palps. I can't figure out what this is. I remember getting it. I think it was for my insomnia. ## This tablet is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 2mgs of Estradiol, which is an Estrogen hormone that's used to treat the hormonal imbalances and menopausal symptoms. Is diflucan effective a year after its expiration date? It expired in November 2015. It is December 2016 now. Thanks! ## Since it is over a year expired, it has most likely lost some efficacy, according to the NIH, so it would be best to dispose of it and obtain a new supply, if you need to use it.
