Hello, I was given Provera last month to stop my period before I went on holiday. After a few days of being on Provera I started bleeding and this continued on and off for the rest of the holiday (2 weeks). As soon as I got home I stopped taking the tablets and had my period. However, I am now 4/5 days late. Could this be due to the Provera or something else? I did not menstruate in Oct, and after testing negative in Pregnancy I was put on Provera pill for10 days. On the 3rd day off the pill I had light bleed for two days. enough to fill 2 pantyliners (brown blood). I was put on a contraceptive pill on Nov. 27 till now Jan. 1,2017. I am having pregnancy symptoms sore breast and more. My question is how certain and accurate that notion if "you bleed from provera, you're not pregnant?" regardless if its a light bleed that only lasted for a 2 days? please reply there were lot of posted question but no replies.

I am 64 and post menopausal. I used to take hrt but quit over a year ago. I fight with my weight. 5"1" at 200 lbs. My joints ache swell. Water aerobics helps but not enough.
