This contains a form of the hormone Progesterone, which is vital to a female's menstrual cycle, your ability to get pregnant, and to carry a baby to full term. The NIH warns that is may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, dizziness, irritability, and irregular periods. Are you on any other medications?

I was taking a specially compounded formula of hormones that worked quite well for me. But they were very expensive so I asked my primary care doctor if he could recommend some bio-identicals that my insurance would cover. He prescribed Est Estrogen Mtest Tab Amne. They are green stamped IP 77.About 3 weeks after starting these I noticed my teeth were very sensitive to heat, I talked to myself A LOT and I started having pain in my hips, knees and ankle as well as leg and foot cramps. I started back on .5 estradiol. I have not been on it for a year and 1/2 and I have gained a lot of weight. I started on supplements that helped me to feel better so I thought I could go off estradiol. It’s so weird cause I thought I would lose weight going off of it and I keep gaining. I eat clean, exercise daily and drink only water. I started back up yesterday so I’m hoping it will help me take some of this weight off. I inserted the Estring and within two hours had diarrhea and cramping, then chills. I kept it in for six more hours but was really feeling sick, so removed it. Literally felt better within the hour. Mimvey is estrogen and progesterone which i have none of myself. I'm 54 post menopausal. I take 2 mg klonipin a day, 900 mg gabapentin, lexapro, 60 mg buspar and I still have breakthrough anxiety. So my doctor prescribed me medroxyprogesterone 10mg (provera) for 5 days to start AF. I have only taken 2 pills, and woke up this morning and when I wiped, it was brown. Hello, I was given Provera last month to stop my period before I went on holiday. After a few days of being on Provera I started bleeding and this continued on and off for the rest of the holiday (2 weeks). As soon as I got home I stopped taking the tablets and had my period.
