I am in Virginia and I currently take 4 30mg oxycodones and 4 100mg morphines a day, I get drug tested every three months. I took some tramadol recently that I found but can't find my prescription for it. Will my doctor see that I took tramadol even though I already take Oxycodone and Morphine?

I take loratab I think I had a script for the extended released tramadol. But that was 10 years ago.

In pain mgnmnt. Prescribed oxy 10 mg & MS contin 30 mg. I ran out before urine test. Brother gave me 4 methadone 5 mgs. Test showed neg for oxy & morphine & neg for methadone. But showed positive for Demarol & Opana! What the €€!!!? My dr. flipped &says happens again & ur out. I know I messed up w/my meds but I swear I didn't take the other. Oh...I did take 1 perc 10 mg that night & 4 methadone 5 mg at 8 am. Saw dr at 2 pm. I have hep c & cirrhosis. A drs assistant told me that some drugs will show up as others in certain circumstances. Anyone have any ideas? I'm terrified it will happen again & I DIDN'T TAKE ANYTHING ELSE. Do I have any recourse or do I have to roll over again & allow some jerk MD (who is the one who got me strung out on this 10 yrs ago.) treat me like a lower than dirt junkie

if you really did not take anything else you can request another test/blood and he have to except it .but if you take tramadol that is an opioid antagonist so will show on the test so just tell him you did take that,but he will ask you why? if you already on opiate

If you give a urine test..they check for opiates in you system..I'm holding my breath I get my Oxicodone before they test again. ( First time in my life I was treated like a junkie. I wouldn't wish this on anyone..but if Dom doc get hurt and need take something for pain, thanks. I'm a cancer survivor and scared everyday of my life hoping it never comes back..I'm a goner if so!

If a script is over a year old it is essentially illegal according to policies set forth per the DNA. You could try to bring the bottle if you have it?

I was given Hydrocodone and for 3 months and the second and 3rd UA's 30 days apart showed no hydrocodone but did show tramadol. I do wear a fentanyl pain patch, but had not take any hydrocodone or anything else for two weeks prior to the UA's. Where did the tramadol come from. I can understand one UA being FP but not two.

5 panels won't show up. I've been taking dot testing for years they only find what the 5 10 or whatever the test panel looks for. I was taking tramadol on the tug boat and had May test while taking it and if it wasn't aloud I would have lost my licence and be let go. So look at an old test and see what the panel test for. That's the easiest way to know if your ok.

I have been taking tramadol for on and of for 10 years, but on a regular basis for over 4 year. I am currently on 6x 50mg a day, but at one point I was on 8x 50mg a day. I also am on 10/325 oxycodone, 1x 15mg long release morphine (at bed time), and 3x 1mg of Xanax a day for anxiety as needed. Before my doses were corrected and my pain was fully managed I was being seen by a joke for a Dr referred to me by my family Dr who is a nurse practitioner, and sadly she doesn't write for pain management. At the time, this was 3 1/2 years ago and we were all still trying to figure out why I was in so much pain still after having/healing from my 3rd c-section and birth of my new baby. At that time I was only on 3x daily 750mg Vicodin & 8x daily 50mg of Tramadol. Well I went in for my refill appointment and took my urine test.... well it came back positive for methadone! Mind you I had NEVER taken methadone before in my life, and felt I would never take it! I grew up watching my best friend's mom use liquid methadone my whole childhood because she was an ex-heroin addict, and she was never not passing out on the couch! All her clothes had cigarette holes in them from her passing out with lit smokes in her mouth! So I felt strongly about that medication.
So when this ass-hat of a Dr told me I tested positive for methadone I pleaded in tears to take the test again because I knew a mistake had been made. He flat refused though, saying "lab test errors are less then 10%, and we both know it will be a waist of our time! I will send it out for further testing, but until then I will not refill your medication because it's truly unlikely a lab error." I was in tears! Not that he wouldn't refill my medication, but because I was basically being called a liar! I was nursing my new baby and felt bad enough about the Vicodin I was taking, even though my family Dr assured me it was ok. But I would NEVER have taken something as strong as methadone while nursing him! So I felt I was being called a liar and a s***ty mom!!! So I went home and jumped on the computer to see what would give a false positive for methadone.... to my shock/relief Tramadol was on that list! High doses of Tramadol like I was on can give a false positive...
So if you take 3x 50mg of Tramadol at once (as I did) within 24 hours of a UA you're risking a false positive! If you're not prescribed either medication then you will have a hard time explaining why you took medication that wasn't prescribed to you... (Tramadol) or trying to explain a false positive triggered by a medication not prescribed. Never worth the risk in my opinion! Luckily for me 10 days later after further testing I was vilified, and it showed in fact that I DID NOT have methadone in my system. It was a false positive from the high dose of Tramadol I was prescribed by this Dr! The Dr never even apologized and had the nerve to act irrated that he was wrong, and I was truthful. So I refused to be treated by him after that day! I was referred to a much kinder Dr who took my symptoms seriously and we were able to find a pain management plan that has worked well for me going on over 3 years now.
So my point is, it is a real roll of the dice! Most basic tests do not test for Tramadol, this is true! My results always show the other 3 medications I am on, and never shows false or positive for Tramadol. But I am proof that you never know when it will trigger a false positive for something even worse! So it's never smart to risk it in my opinion! Tramadol isn't even a good source of pain relief! I take it because my serotonin levels are low and it benefits me more with my chemical imbalance then it does with any type of pain relief. Just not worth risking your pain management plan over a medication that isn't very effective for managing major pain.

I will run out of my pain medication because my Dr moved my appointment up 2 weeks. I have some Tramadol that my family member gave me for the pain. And it will last until the appointment. Will it show up in the urine test?

I suspect that you are being tested for illegal drugs. I have never had ultram show up on that. Pain clinics do test for ultram/tramadol, they are more interested in what prescription drugs you are taking that they have not prescribed.
