So recently I received a white Watson 853 that looks identical to the yellow ones; size, shape, imprint. Everything checks out except it does not feel as strong as the yellow. I was then told that Watson is not manufacturing yellow ones anymore so I checked the Watson/actavis website. They had no info on white 853. Are these fake?

I am glad to know this is not in my head!!!!!!!!!!! Since I have had the white pill I feel worse pain with each day and feel more ill also.

the white ones are much weaker,and I still have some yellow watsons left. If they are supposed to be the same why do the new white one crumble easier and have no bitter taste?I have tried others including qualitest and do not get near the pain relief. What to do now? I am tired of fighting. No where to go......greed still winning every battle.

oh THOSE yellow ones they arent watsons they do not work ..not for me anyway..i tried them last year when walgreens wouldnt fill my prescriptions and they made me tired and nauseated, just like the NEW watsons do and the qualitest brand did. YUCK

how bout someone set up a gofundme account? im not sure anyone will do it out of fear that someone will keep the money and not do anything about it. If we can get 40 people to agree to donate 10 bucks each that would be great but i dont think anyone will.

Yes, CVS has the yellow 10/325 pills with the V on one side and 3601 on the other side, get those because they ACTUALLY work unlike the new white watsons.

IF SOMEONE CAN please get a group to chip in to have these tested asap i found a testing place who will tell us how much of hydrocodone is in these pills but it costs $400 if i could i would do it this has to be illegal ive been reading posts here and it seems other meds r doing the same thing??? this is so bs games these people are playing w us and it makes me sick.maybe the dea is behind it too? wouldnt surprise me the website who will test them is drugdetection . net please someone have this done immediately before these mfers move out of the country.

Got new script yesterday... Took it to cvs and asked to see the pill before filling. They have the yellow pills there and life is better now.. Shame the manufacturer can't be held legally liable..

I have had the yellow V 853 pill and it worked for my pain. when I got a refill I was given the white pills and they do not work, I felt different, I got a head ache, was irritable, felt sick. there was nothing I could do, I was just out of my money and I have no insurance. The next time I went to walgreens and they had the yellow pills and everything was fine. One more time I needed pain pills I want to walgreens again and this time they wanted to give me the white pills, I said I would go some where else. so now I'm here on this page trying to get answers. Something illegal is going on!!!! people apart from not getting pain relief our hard working money is going down the drain.

I HAVE BEEN WAKING UP EARLY WITH EXCRUCIATING BACK PAIN IDK IF THIS IS WITHDRAWAL BUT ITS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. I BELIEVE THEY DID NOT PUT ANY HYDROCODONE IN THESE IF SO ITS BARELY ANYTHING AND DEFINATELY NOT THE 10 MG THAT ITS SUPPOSED TO BE. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE WE CAN TAKE THESE TO GET TESTED FOR WHATS IN THEM? EVERYONE NEEDS TO MAKE COMPLAINT W FDA AND ALSO CONTACT PHARMACUTICAL ATTORNEYS. I HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED A FEW.

It seems like we all are in agreement that these new watson white 853 which we were coerced into taking DO NOT WORK!!! since Watson was bought out by Activis Pharmaceuticals it seems like they are using the same but much cheaper ingredients to increase profit margins. I also heard that Activis which is a fortune 500 company is also moving from new jersey to Ireland to save on taxes. this company is all about money which is fine until you start messing with ingredients that are cheaper so you make more profit. and are hurting the 1000s of people who take this medication. this company is a DISGRACE and should be investigated

WHY ISNOTHING BEING DONE THEY ARE DOING SOMETHING ILLEGAL HERE FOR SURE . Well, finally got a refill and switched the script back to CVS, the little yellow pills with the V's on them, WHAT A DIFFERENCE omg, the first day I had them I took 3 in the morning like I was used to taking with the white watsons, and it was WAY too much, I felt like I was overdosing, Watson is doing something illegal, and someone needs to get to the bottom of it.

I just posted on another thread, but please call watson if you are experiencing the drop in quality with the white version. I, too, have had a horrendous week because of their "little" tweak and am furious. Watson has received a lot of complaints according to the woman I spoke to. But she stuck with the yellow dye story. I explained that there is absolutely NO way they could be the same. I have yellow left over from last month and finally switched back last night and saw a dramatic difference. It's not psychological considering I have been in WD this week and thought I was just sick until I took a yellow one. That's when it all really clicked. So please call them. It is criminal if they reduced the quality for profit and are now denying it. Their number is easy enough to find. Call them!
