Lynn people use it when they can't get heroine or other opiates. I assume she is using heroine as well. Confront her ASAP don't hesitate because no matter how much she will hate you you will be saving bet life

needs into a rehab or suboxone clinic that monitors them.... I'm a recovering addict & subutex has truly helped me and my husband and many friends overcome our opiod dependency.... praying all works out for ur daughter O:-)

Dee u are being a really big b@#$/ by saying that most people are legally prescribed there meds and the doctors just keep on giving them more when whst they are on doesnt work as good as they use to if the doctors were trained the right way and educated about opiate addiction before they were allowed to prescribe opiates there would be alot less people getting addicted cause they would recognize the signs and help people get off them before it turns to a full blown addiction

Cold turkey, or with only 5 subs and then nothing is the Best way to go , unless you are not strong enough to go through life being clean,,,,,, That would be the only reason for a long running sub maintenance program, besides that reason alone the only interest a Dr. has in keeping you on those meds would be for monetary gain and nothing else.

It still gets u high like pain killers. This is the 1st ive heard of anybody shootin it but i know a lot of people snort it. Def needs to be less accessible for people who arent prescribed it. Sorry to hear about ur daughter!! Def do what u can NOW especially if shes shootin it

A few facts: 1) as long as u wait at least 4-8 hrs (the longer, the better) after u take an opiate, u can take a small dose (1-4mg) of suboxone or subutex w/o getting sick. You won't feel any effect from the sub, enough.
2)Yes, u can dissolve subutex and abuse it. However, both subutex and suboxone are horrible for your veins. You've been warned.
3)Ideally, u want to be on suboxone. Subutex is good too, but at least in my experience, once u take suboxone regularly, as directed, ur cravings well dramatically be reduced.
4)Please, if u want to help ur daughter, as someone else said, do not take her subs! Talk to her, let her know u found everything. Ask her if she's using, or trying to get clean. Either way, ask if she's really committed to staying clean. If so, help her! Make sure she gets to the dr, make sure she takes her suboxone, be supportive! When my mom used to drive me to the dr and help me pay for it, i really got help. I didn't relapse until she couldn't pay for the dr anymore, or drive me, and i had no one else to help. Also, my Dr stopped prescribing subs. Anyway, I've been clean now for over 3 yrs, thanks to suboxone!
5)Ask her if she's pregnant. Most drs only prescribe subutex to pregnant women, or ppl allergic to naloxone, since statistically, subutex is more likely to be abused.
6)If she's pregnant, then she needs ur help more than ever. Let her know ur proud of her for trying to stay clean, and that u love her, no matter what. If u just yell and put her down, she will almost definitely use.

Suboxone is known to cause birth defects. Subutex does not, but baby will still be born addicted. Unless they stop by the 3rd trimester.
