What is a white round pill with APO 018 on it?

This pill is generic Tagamet. It's Cimetidine... usually branded by a pharmacy like CVS or Walgreens and is used as an acid reducer. If you have concerns, it's best to talk to your daughter.

We have received a number of inquiries about this imprint code, but nobody was able to find a match based on both imprint code and reported color.

The only lead regarding this was found from the manufacturer Apotex. On their site is listed a round Green pill with the imprint APO 018.

The pill that came up is Cimetidine 200 mg, generic for Tagamet (treats acid reflux and other similar conditions).

The details were finally found at the following URL:

It is highly unlikely that there could be multiple medications with the same imprint code, so if anybody can take a picture and send it our way of a WHITE pill with this imprint, that would be very interesting.

I'd be happy to send you one. There is no mistaking that this pill is white, not the green that is on the website for the Tagamet. My daughter was clean, so I thought for the last 8 months, but I am highly concerned now that I've found this pill, along with another that I am working to identify.

My wife has some of these pills. They have the code APO 018 on the front, they are white and on the back of the 10 pack it says CIMETIDINE manufactured by: Tor Pharn (Spelling?), Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada. Also says manufactured for Apotex Corp, Weston Florida, 33326. I'm not able to take a picture at the moment but may be able to if someone still needs it later.
