Whether Taking Telma H Is Safe?

I am 57 years old and having marginally higher BP. Presently taking Telma H regularly and do not have any problem. BP when measured is normal. I read an article saying that taking Telma H can cause cancer. Please suggest

Telma-H contains Telmusartan and Hydrochlorothizide and is most commonly used to help lower high blood pressure.

As to the risk of cancer, it was shown to be only a slight risk, no more than any other medication and, since these studies were so small, they have not been accepted as valid proof, yet. So, there actually may not be any risk.

If you are still concerned, then I'd advise you to speak with your doctor, because the risk of letting your blood pressure get out of control is much higher than the theory of a cancer risk that has been presented about these medications.

I am 36 years old and i m having high blood pressurer since 4 years. i was taking LOsar Beta Tab twice a day, but still my BP was 150/110. so doctor suggested me to take TELMA H once a day, but still My BP is 140/90. so plz suggest me should i continue telma h or not. and plz let me know the side effects of telma h.
