Where To Find A Doctor To Prescribe Xanax In Huntsville Al With Good Records (Page 2)

I just need to find a doc that will rx xanax, I have rx'ed between 6 to 8 mg a day for last 7 yrs, well up to a few months back. I'm on medicare for Disability but any help would be appreciated...

A PHD is not a medical doctor and can't prescribe medicine with a few exceptions. A Regular MD, Psychiatrist or DO can. I can understand Public Programs not allowing for certain medications although your Doctor could have helped you and is creepy unless that visit was just to get that one substance. Why I am no longer allowed to get that $25 or $50 Cash offer for transferring prescriptions, yet I pay for my Government Employee plan or at least 1/3rd of it

Me too! My PTSD and Social Aniexty along with Vertigo make it really hard to even leave my house!! And my doc decides she is cutting me off of them-when they are thee only medication that helps me with all my diagnoses. P.S. I am from Massachusetts

Wish in one hand and you know what to do with the other!!! Today more and more doctors are closing there doors or being arrested because of over prescribed controlled substance medications!! Wish I could help you but this is what this world has come to!! The sick and mentally ill and pain patients are being tossed in the dark with no relief in sight!!!

I can't believe you can't find a doctor to write them! I get 8 mg of xanax a day from a doctor in Huntsville!! I get 2 - 4mg bars a day to treat anxiety!! I would post this doctors name on here but I am too scared he may be a target for the DEA or some other government agency!! It seems like they are targeting good doctors who know how to give proper treatment to their patients!! Here's a hint to find him..."Long Night walks will lead you here"!! 2nd hint "Where do you end up at the end of the day?"

Hi Tommy, I haven't a clue where u end up after a long walk at night or at the end of the day.. home? I wish I could somehow make u know that I'm just a girl that's about to run out of my Librium. I came out of the hospital from pancreatitis caused by alcoholism and they prescribed that to me for alcohol withdrawals and anxiety. It's like Xanax but long lasting. I haven't wanted to really drink since using them. It's saving my life and the damn doc I just went to said his nurse practitioner could prescribe that for me and to set up new apt. Well I did, come to find out they don't dispense any benzos just prescribe which I'm already on. Anyways TMI. I need a good steady doc that takes me seriously. I would just really like the name of the doc. Thanks! {edited for privacy}

I have been taking xanax fir about 7 years. My doctor recently retired and then passed away. And now i just found out i have lung cancer. So i believe i may need a higher dose now.

Hey Caryn,. Do you have medicare? And are you in any programs like United Health where you have to see doctors through there programs? There programs usually have no co-pays with there doctors and free vision and eye glasses and other formalary doctors????

Hey hun my name is Megyn. I really need a doc. I have been on Alprazolam for over 10 years I got a letter in the mail from my doc saying she was terminating her relationship with me. My heart dropped when I read that. I was with her for 4 years. Only doc I've been with since moving here from up north. We had a good relationship. But someone was mad when I wouldn't sell my meds and guess what they did? They called my doctor's office and made up god knows what. But I know this person, and they would say the worst possible things when I really was doing the right thing and not selling my meds bc I need them and it's just BS to do that to someone. I just wish my doc would have talked to me or something anything before just booting me out... Like she could have drug tested or even pill counted or most of all talk to me, but nope just a terrible letter in the mail. And the office ppl said I'm not allowed to talk to her. This is just messed up. I've been a nervous wreck.. can you please share the doctor's name? It would mean a lot to me. I'm just an anxious stressed out mess here anymore.. Please help! But I do understand if you really can't. I just wish u could. Geeze I'm so sorry for the book.. lol.. Idk if you'll even see this post though I hope you do.

Tommy claimed to get two of the 4mg Xanax Bars per day. I have a real problem with that as they don't make 4mg Xanax. Plus most Doctors would never provide 8 mg daily?

I’ve been trying to figure out. He hints for a very long time and I can’t seem to figure it out besides maybe Dr David.. if this is it could u please just let me know. I’ve been to 5 different docs and they won’t prescribe what actually helps me.

Me too they have tried everything on me but a couple years back I had a grear understanding doctor that wtote me 3 2 milligram alrazolam meds but I’m can’t find him nowhere and it’s so hard to get these docs to understand what works for some don’t always work for others

Hello Verwon, I have been taking 0.5 ml of Xanax 3 x daily for 33 yrs. I am now 66 yrs old and have never abused it . It may only work for most folks a short time, but for me it has helped all this time. I recently moved back to Athens, Al after being in Florida for a yr. I went to my Dr and was surprised to learn I could only get it from a psychiatrist. I'm finding it hard to find someone to see me. If u can help it would be appreciated.

I don't think Ver takes Xanax, but many seniors are being removed from Benzodiazepines. A Lot has to do with Doctor liability issues, especially with seniors. It is something I have been aware of for some time now, it's in printed materials for prescribing this drug. I am now very much almost in the same boat as you but have not experienced this problem yet, my Doc is about 74, I have been going to him for 10 years! What you were told is not true, although Physician groups are making up their own rules & standards. Even the medical assistant at my Doctor's office told me everyone is only allowed 2 Xanax per day. I told her she had no idea what she was talking about, was she a Doctor, what form & strength would these two pills be, she had no idea. Finally, I asked her not to speak with me anymore, that really astonished her. There was a little more to this story, and yes I got my normal amount. Plus I have many extras. This is something that all seniors should be aware of. Many Doctors are not aware or just don't care about the patient when certain types of medication are discontinued. I wrote about this last week, I have no problems getting Xanax, but couldn't get new prescription Eye drops that help you see?
