I took half a strip of suboxone on friday and I have to take a drug test soon. What is the best way to get it out of my system?

I came across many findings on the drug testing of Buprenorphine. Erowid says it stays in ur system for 2 to 4 days check out:

They do have really cheap urine tests that u can find online to test urself to see where ur at before you have to take a urine screen.

In my opinion ...Flushing ur system out with detox and tons of water is still unknown for Buprenorphine with my experience with drug tests cuz i never tried it yet for this particular substance but with any detox...drink tons of water...ur body weight in oz plus 50 every 24 hours before u drink ur detox. After u drink the detox piss once or twice. Once ur piss is a neon green/yellowish color u'll usually pass as long as u gave urself 48 of countless water ingestion, and as long as u didnt smoke cannabis.
And if ur really worried and ur not taking a supervised urine screen and ur urine sample has to be clean for every drug...u can always use a 2 oz bottle of someones clean piss with a fish tank thermometer taped to it and some glove warmers to keep the urine warm but be careful. Always check the thermometer so it doesn't get to warm. Ur read out of the cup ur giving ur nurse or P.O. should read 92F to 94F. U lose some tempurture from the piss leaving ur body and going into the cup.

If there are no tests for suboxone or bupe, why did my tox screen show it when I was being tested to make sure I was properly taking dilaudid, oxycodone & lorazepam? They check for tons of drugs that are misused or illegal

There is a 12 panel screen which tests for bupherine..basically suboxene. Its a special panel screen. It must be ordered by whoever is testing you. Trust me I take subs. I'm on state parole I pass every time. 10 panel screens and lower will not detect suboxenes. However, it sucks after 5 days clean I go through all types of side effects. Insomnia, dierrehia (sp). Restlessness, vertigo. Many, many, other side effects. Take my advice doctors who prescribe this drug also test for it! Yes the do many a panel for it! So the parties above who say they don't better get a clue. -- over and out--

most drug tests dont detect suboxone. only the 17 panel does and then there are specific test just for suboxone. i failed a test today for it so your best bet is to find out what kind of test you will be taking

They do test for suboxone. I know this for a fact because I am tested every month at probation

This is absolutely not true! They DO HAVE tests for suboxone it comes up at buepmorphine I just had a UA and this test is separate but more expensive so a lot of places or people don't test for it. But yes there is most def a way to detect it

on five panel tests suboxone does not show, however the 12 panel drug tests do test for....i know for fact, i work in a treatment center.

No there is definitely suboxone on drug tests although they are not normally on the most standard of them. Also, sometimes suboxone comes up false positive for opiates.

Well then according to that particular line of reasoning, ALL synthetic opioids such as Oxycodone, Fentanyl, Methadone would then NOT show up on an Opiate test...WRONG WRONG WRONG...Not only is that just ignorant thinking, but even if that were right(which it most definitely is NOT!), when buprenorphine is metabolized it is then brought down to norbuprenorphine, which,.not only is many, many times stronger than buprenorphine...but is also a FULL OPIOID AGONIST. case closed.

Well that's a lie cause I stopped for 7days and it was still n my system cause I felled a drug test and my doctor told me that's what was n my system.So there for there is a test to detect it n ur system. And I got tested twice n 7 days.

Sorry Jack Boxe, I am also a Suboxone patient and have been for 6 years. With my particular insurance company a mandatory urine screen for Bupenorphine (the main ingredient in Suboxone) is given on a monthly basis to be sure the patient is consuming the Suboxone correctly and not selling it. I am given a 16 panel screen monthly. It does not show up as an opiate, it shows up as Bupenorphine.

I take 2 drug tests a week all of which can detect suboxone (buprenorphine)
There is 12 panel tests that detect buprenorphine. I know this from experience so please do not say there is no test for suboxone that is false information and can ruin someone's life.

Well jack you're wrong there is a test for suboxone because I just failed a screen for it six days after I done a half. So my best advice is to drink so much water the day of and before if you can stomach it and pray you are pissing only water. Don't eat the day of.

I'm sorry but YOU are mistaken sir! I live in PA and the probation dept. definitely DOES have a strip on the urine test cup for BUP! Go to your local Walmart Pharmacy and ask for a standard 12 or 16 panel urine test. It's on it "BUP".

I have drug testin 6 times a month and they do test for suboxen it depends on what they test for...it does not show up as an opiate it does show up as bupern how ever its spelled
