What Is The Pill Marked P100

These were prescribed for my Labrador after he was hit by a car a year ago. He has been on a regular diet of 150 mg of Rimadyl daily for pain. I'm out and the new order won't be here for 2 days. Can I give him these pain killers (marked with P100) until then?

I have pills for my dog with a P on one side and 100 on the other. They're a peach or light pink color and oblong shaped.

It's Carprofen. I just got tablets for my dog who has a hip problem. Oblong, white, P 100.

Not to stir up confusion, but I found some mixed feedback in another related thread here that depicts this as being Prednisone, while another comment mentioned Carprofen (also known as Rimadyl).

So I did some additional research and located an oval orange pill marked P100 with an NDC: 26637-253, that also came back as Carprofen.

Pill Size: 19mm

NIH.gov describes this medication as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug for oral use in dogs only.

That said, even though there may be a Prednisone tablet with a similar description (which I have yet to find), I am under the shared impression that this is indeed Carprofen.

Yes, they are in fact canine pills. My girlfriend, her boyfriend and I got pulled over tonight and she got arrested for them because the *****s couldn't get it up on the computers. I came home and googled it and it came right up! I think they were just looking to charge her because they told her it was methamphetamine, however, he allowed me to take pictures of the bottle and the pill itself before I left the police station, and it is in fact the same pill spelled CARPROFEN. It is for dogs. I don't know if they prescribe it for people. They may but I wouldn't take it LOL.
