I would like to know what the expected shelf life is for a Cyclobenzaprine 10 mg tablet that's a tan pill with M on one side? I was prescribed this medication for muscle spasms.

However, my understanding is if they are no longer in the original factory sealed container and have been dispensed into a pharmacy bottle, which exposes them to heat, light and moisture, then the expiration is one year from the date they were dispensed.
After that time period, they begin to lose effectiveness.
NOTE: For maximizing the shelf-life, the product description depicted on Rising Pharmaceuticals website as well as on DailyMed suggest that the recommended storage temperature is 20-25 degree celsius (68-77 degrees fahrenheit).
