What Is Stronger Teva Clonazepam Green 833 Or Teva Clonazepam White 834? (Page 2) (Top voted first)

Is the Clonazepam TEVA 833 brand (green), stronger than the Clonazepam TEVA 834 brand (white)? Which one is stronger and what are there milligrams? Please someone give me an answer!

VERY! I learned this is phrarm school and the percentage is even higher in some cases. I always asked for brand-name. They're moer expensive but at least you know what you're getting.

Actually, that's not always the case. I am a legitimate chronic pain patient but used to take a very high dose of oxycodone, OxyContin, and Xanax, and the DEA flagged me because they thought it was excessive. But it was only after 8-9 years of building tolerance that I was at this high dose. I have never once bought, sold, or given my meds away, but I still had to meet with an agent to explain it, and my doctor got to have a nice meeting with them too. But he was not wrong for giving me the dose that he did, and he is not a "candyman" kind of doctor. So they did leave him alone, but it was a pain to deal with.

In any strength klonopin is also excellent in the treatment of sleep paralysis, which I have. Also to note that klonopin is the longest acting benzo. Both Valium & Xanax peak at abt 2-3 hours & then wear off in abt 4 hours. The klonopin however peaks at abt 3-4 hours & doesn't wear off for abt 6-8 hours. I have been taking this for abt 5 yrs now & with the condition I have it works far better than Valium or Xanax. Of course bear in mind all meds effect diff people in diff ways, please be careful taking ANY mess that you are not sure of the effect.

You're paying $2.00 a pop for a 1mg Pin? That's a bit high (no pun intended). Here in Baltimore, Pins have been selling on the street for $1.00 per milligram, which isn't too bad--for the time being. Some greedy jerks have been trying to up the prices to $3.00 for two green 1mg Pins and two white 2mg Pins for $5.00--and they refuse to break up the pairs.

Worse still are the Xanax bars, which had been going for $5.00 a pop. In certain locations (usually near-by a Meth clinic) bars have been going for $7.00 each--and, at one infamous location, a bar can cost $10.00.

The jerks who are over-pricing these pills are predators taking advantage of those who have picked-up a habit and are often desperate. Thankfully, I get Rx's for my Pins--which I always run out of too quickly. But I lay off for a week or two, which has helped me avoid a physical dependence. And if I do pick up a few, I laugh and walk away from those jerks.

MAN! If you've already done it--that is, if you actually took 20mg of Klonopin on top of either 15 (three 5mg Vicodin), or 22.5 mg of Hydrocodone (three 7.5 mg Vicodin)--please respond to this post. I'm curious to find out if you survived.

If you're an experienced, daily user of both, I'm sure you had a wonderful evening. If you had no experience with these chemicals, my condolences go out to your family.

At any rate, I honestly hope you enjoyed it. I know I would have--even at half the dosages you noted.

I totally agree. I rarely take anti anxiety unless I'm have a really rough day. I barely felt the teva 833. I used to take .5mg klonopins for about 3 months about 3 years ago. But these teva 833 really suck.

I think there are two main issues in the Klonopin debate that has ensued (none of which is really pertinent to the actual original question) but to be clear i think there are 3 issues that should be focused on.

1) Having excepted the convention that at least with Benzos, a higher mg dosage, at its most simple, does signify a higher accumulated dosage that will be administered, thus as stated .5 is half of 1.0 which is half of 2.0mg. But this is a simplistic answer which doesn't take into account different variables.

2) as stated, the difference between generic and non-generic prescriptions can have a marked difference up to and above 20%, this being said, this does not fundamentally alter what a patient should be using. If 1 mg generic klonopin does the trick, a 1mg non-generic may not be held as "better" just a higher dosage of the active benzo, which would go contrary to the notion that the generic 1mg IS WORKING (if it ain't broke don't fix it). So I think its wiser to work within systematized variables, for instance go from 1mg gen to 2mg gen, not 1 mg gen to 1 mg brand, and then to 2 mg gen then to 2 mg brand. Thats just adding weird and unscrutinized dosage variants without really being able to know the variables. So in simple, if you want the "true" effect, start and stay on the brand scripts, if you are on gens, remain there. That i think is pragmatic.

3) The difference between xanax and klonopin should be defined not by what they do (which is control anxiety) but rather in the half life and uptake of those benzos. Xanax has an active half life of about (i have heard) any where fro 4-8 hours. But the uptake time for one to feel it is not 1 1/2 but much less, probably within a 30 min period on should feel preliminary effects, and though the "peak" may be in the range of klonopin's 3-1/2 to 4 hour mark, that hardly makes sense for xanax which would be beginning is half life at that time. I think one reason for the discrepancies in our description is that some posters are describing their experiences with orally taking xanax, and blowing it. If that is the case, we can through most of the conventional explanations out the window. From what i have found, xanax can be immediately effective (especially for partial or non-anxiety users) within 10-25 minutes, whereas those with real anxiety may feel a increase in the speed they get relief, but drastically cut the time of its active anti-anxiety role by at least half if not less, from possibly 7-8 hours to 2 maybe less maybe more, but no more than 3 hours or half the expected time frame.

4) there is the issues as one post described of the different effects different dosage pills have had on diff users. that 1 mg taken 2x for klonopin has a different effect than 1 2mg pill for the same drug strikes me as potentially significant, but not enough to make a huge difference, if there is a huge difference between the two, my guess is that other factors are involved: the way it is taken (orally, intravenous, blown, or as a suppository --yes people do all these things). Also what other drugs or meds one is taken in conjunction with the benzos. Alcohol, H, oxys, xanax w clonopin, can/clon/and opiates….ertc you name it. An often used recreational tool for benzos are as "coming down mechanisms or pillows for coke and amphetamine use, in this case they are taking the role of opiates as the most preferred mechanism for coming of coka/amph highs which can bring anxious discomfort. In this realm speed and intensity (but not longevity) is the aim, then xanax is preferred. Often though people may mix this with oxys of a bit of H, or (the truly ignorant and stupid) both. This can lead, especially if not much time has passed since the administration of the opiate, in dangerous and fatal outcomes. Someone i know had his heart stop after abusing H and then minutes later taking a (2mg) xanax or klon. He almost died had an ambulance not been 50 feet away.

5) the most dangerous outcomes lately seem to be from not being aware is in opiate dosages from the street (as in H) especially with the fear of Fentanyl being added to the cut of H. When this occurs deaths are frequent. When you add benzos to the mix, fatality is a definite possibility.

6) If one is on pain management which pre-supposes the patent to be under supervised care, but nonetheless, supervised "addiction" care, for possibly not mentally, but def physically they are addicted to the opiate based meds which are an integral part of pain management. This is a difficult area, as klonopin and sleep aids are often equally used in this treatment. IT IS TRUE, though often not realized and somewhat illogical, that opiates are not stupefiers, not are they depressants, that is why in generalized categories we have stimulants, depressants: sub group for . benzos also called and sometimes categorized separately as "tranquilizers," sleep aids (also depressants) and its OWN CATEGORY, opiates. There is a good reason for this as opiates do not fall into an uppers/downers description. They do at doses make you drowsy, but they do not help sleep. The main difference between opiate based (synthetic or not) medicine and uppers/downers categories is that opiates, more than most other drugs except coke (and for good reason) contain aspects of their effect not found in normal lower end use of the rest of the categories. This aspect is known as ecstasis or ecstatic emotions. It is THIS quality which makes the paradoxical nature of opiates differentiated from other medicine that would be considered anti-anxiety and downer related categories. Though anxiety is combated, and opiates start as relaxants in the downer mold, they also energize through ecstatic emotional responses, which if nothing else, limit their help as sleep aids. This being the case, we come to the main point I wish to make about all the different postings which could argue for ages.

Thats what i was wondering, cuz my dr was gonna give me the 2mg tablets to take 3 times a day but she asked me if i wanted that or 6 of the 1mg green tevas i chose to go with the 1mn green tevas, id rather take 2 of those than take 1 2mg tablet......do u agree?

Ah but it is the law that every blister MUST be printed with the name of the drug and it's strength as well as any 'brand' name.s
Boxes and Patient INFORMATION Leaflets also contain the information of what your tablets look like, and what strength, colour, et they are, plus a list if all excipients making up each tablet - many people are allergic to E102 TARTRAZINE yellow colouring, making such a make unsuitable. The information is there, whether you are new to a medicine or not makes no difference.

Some people don't understand the metric system with which drug doses are measured in. 2 is greater than 1. Therefore, the white Teva 834, 2mg, is stronger than the green Teva 833, 1mg.

Well, my clearly very bright and shining star- the way numbers work is that decimals are smaller numbers than whole numbers...

i.e. ( or ",for example" ) .4 is less than 1, and .3 is less than three. They are "fractions" of numbers.

Whole numbers increase in order, from small to large. So 2 is a "bigger" number than 1.

If we follow common sense and basic logic, as well as preschool level math, it's safe to assume 2mg is probably stronger in its effect than 1mg, if we are comparing the same drug- same chemical composition, etc. just a larger dosage, which tends- though there are epections, to make the effect of the drug stronger.

I believe this is is a complex question. YES, 2 mg is going to be stronger than 1 mg out of the gate. But if you're taking it in split doses as many ppl do throughout the day (or halves as prescribed), some last longer than others.

I was on 2mg twice a day tevas for 7 years then my longtime Dr moved out of state and they made me go to a different doctor to continue care. Now I get Clonazepam n in 1 mg 3 x a day and Teva always lasted longer the green ones (even though they seemed to absorb quicker). Then I could not get any Tevas, only Accord brand and I'd take a higher dose and feel like s*** by 5-6pm. This isn’t a withdrawal by any means. When I start feeling like a have a panic attack I'd take one and they come on about the same time of day (I know why) but enough about me and mine).

Yeah, Accord seems to wear of more quickly for me. On my prescription it says TEVA BRAND ONLY. It's the only thing that's worked for me. THANKS stupid presidents not only messing things up but also peoples medication. We should be able to sue. They did to these nontrade zones, people are worried about "car chips"? Lol I’m worried about feeling right in the morning / day. Some last in the body a lot longer. I think Tevas are longer lasting. I’d trade 3 x 1mg Accords for 1 x 2mg true Tevas (in a perfect world).

According to my pharmacist who has 30 years of experience... the FDAS permits generic formulas to vary by as much as 20% from the active ingredients in brand formulas. 20% is extremely sloppy!

Just curious as to anyone elses experience or input? Was in a bad accident in 2011, at that time I took 3mg of clonazapam or xanax as needed per day for anxiety, some days took nothing some days 1/2mg some days a few mg sometimes spaced out some times all at once, the most I ever took was 5 mg over abot 10 hrs, I had taken these meds for like 5 years up to 2011. After the accident I was in the hospitol 3 months and rehab for about 2 months and stayed w my parents for about 4 months. Broke my neck at the c3 fused it together, lost 50% turning radius, broke all ribs and clavical and tore knee ligament, amongst other injuries that were flesh wounds, the worst was the hospitols fault, they left the intubation tube in for almost 3 weeks paralyzed my epiglottis and about 50% of vocal cord movemement in addition to loss of approx 50% of all other throat mucle movement and operation, still have a G Tube in, trache was pulled about 3 months ago after surgery to remove alot of scar tissue and to bring vocal cords midline so I can speak somewhat and I can eat somewhat takes about an hr to eat a small meal! Pretty much stinks!!! But my question is, Out of the hospital they had me on Fentynal patch 12mg every 72 hrs and 2mg clonapin at nite and 10 mg oxycodone at nite. I weaned myself off the fentenal patch about 5 months ago. Right mow I take the 10md of oxy w 2mg of clonapin at bedtime, I dont sleep after taking this, so for about a month I have added 1mg of Xanax after 3 hrs of taking the oxy and clonapin, and if this doesnt work I add another .5 of xanax, by this time its usually 3 to 5 am in the morning!!! I have read the stories about mixing the opiate w the benzo, but it doesnt seem to bother me? What is some input? Talked to my Dr didnt tell him how much I was taking just told him I couldnt sleep and anxiety and wanted to ween off of the oxy, do I hurt "yes" but I am kind of worried about mixing these 2 drugs??? Drs plan then is to ween off the oxy stay on the clonapin as needed, xanax as needed, and put me on Ambiem to sleep, but shoot I take most of my meds at nite anyway, and looked up Ambiem and its a benzo also!!! SOOOO now when I get off the oxy, or is this the best plan? How much Ambiem and clonapin and Xanax as needed can I take if I need to? Who knows maybe the Ambiem will work on its own??? I know alot about the interactions from my research, but just want some feedback, especially from people that have used thesecombos and at the same dosages or more! Are the effects of clonazepam in treating anxiety, as good or better than Xanax (alprazolam) as far as calming panic attacks and severe anxiety attacks?. Is the relief as quick or as effective as Xanax? And how long does one pill last vs one Xanax pill. I have a legal prescription for Xanax but recently heard about clonazepam and was wondering...
