Hi Paula,
Based on my research, a round brown/maroonish colored pill with a W on one side and blank on the other, is reportedly identified as a 95mg Azo-Standard (Phenazopyridine) tablet used for urinary tract pain and discomfort. Apparently it's available as an over-the-counter medication.
For added verification, the National Drug Code for this particular tablet is listed as 009980015.
After coming across an image of the pill online, I can easily understand how the W might've been mistaken for an M!
