I usually get generic brand Xanax. They all have had that bitter taste. I have the 2mg Xanax bars. They look the same as what I usually take. They seem like they work and have the same consistency. But taste chalky not bitter. Do Xanax bars taste different than generic brands and/or smaller doses 1mgs .5mg etc?

Do not buy Xanax or alprazolam online without a prescription! You won't have to worry about your legs bc you'll be dead. Does this scare you enough yet? 1mg alprazolam ARE blue with a score line in middle. Yes they are small and have a bitter taste. Look at goodrx.com for coupon discounts at best pharmacy with best pricing. I'm assuming your Dr has not prescribed Xanax for you, or YOU wouldn't be shopping online.
Put a bar of soap (not dial, ivory) under your bed sheets at foot end. This will help with pain or cramping as it has magnesium in it that you could deficient in. Rachael go to a free clinic to get your anxiety issue addressed. Call you local or state health department for phone numbers. Nothing to fool around with. Good luck and let me know how u make out. Xanax, I'm sorry to say but I've had to resort to filling my rx on-line. They come in packs of 15 and 30 and they say 1mg but they are absolutely tiny, white and taste is horrendous! Also they knock me out after about half hour. Please can anyone advise me? I'm already living with a severe, really excruciating pain disease which affects my legs more than anything and my Dr's won't give me anything higher than 8/500 cocodamol. Please help? Kind regards Rachel

If you get any bitter taste at all they are Alprazolam. If you are able to basically let the whole pill dissolve & break in your mouth, & don't taste any bitterness then it is likely something else.

No, just took a dose about 2 hours ago and I’m barely feeling anything. I’ve had other brands before. I could take half and feel the effects. I chewed it and it almost tasted like marijuana and dissolved very fast in my mouth. Think the prescription was no good.

yeah thats exactly what I've thought after taking some pressed Xans have a strong sedative effect with zero euphoria, exactly like taking a good dose of sleeping medication like ambian.
I'm very good at identifying substances when taken and I will say generally there are 3 types of pressed xanax out there
1. Straight street lab, fentanyl laced which is very dangerous obviously
2. Sleeping medication such as ambian or maybe a concentrated shelf sleep aid. Which in fact is still highly dangerous because when you unknowingly take sleep medication especially strong ones or a big dose you will randomly black out in the middle of whatever you're doing, possibly driving.
3. Absolutely nothing but filler.

Xanax should always have a bitter taste no matter what brand. I would of have returned them to get my money back. I would advise you to buy one and taste it and if it pass the taste test then buy more so your not losing money.

Agreed but a lot of them are saying it’s a very very light bitter and I believe it to be fake cause all the Xanax I’ve taken over the years no matter what color they have a strong bitter taste right away

Lil, I must say after using this Toxin for 30 + years, many retail brands can also taste chalky. I've never needed to do any of the complex tests listed in this thread because I go to a store only. We know if it's not bitter you've got a problem
