What Became Of Myoflex By Norvatis, For Muscular Aches/pain?
UpdatedWhat happened to Myoflex??? Is it still out there but under another name? Is it Aspercreme now and does Aspercreme contain the same ingredients as Myoflex did? I loved Myoflex because it was non greasy when applied, in addition to not having a disgusting smell like the Ben Gay product that would offensively linger after application.

Yes, Aspercreme contains the same active ingredient. I just so happened to have a tube here, so I was able to look and verify this first hand. LOL I sometimes have wrist, or hand aches and need to use it.
The FDA lists its most common side effects as possibly including skin redness, dryness, and irritation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
Verwon, thank you for your comments on my inquiry about Myoflex. Turns out that Myoflex and Aspercreme may both have the same or similar ingredients, however, they are not the same medication. The reason Myoflex is not found anywhere is that it has been taken off the shelves everywhere; from CVS, Walmart, Target and even markets like Von's, etc. Walgreens does not have it in store either, except that through their website you can order it online. So I did! So anyone still wanting this great formula, you can get it through the Internet; just google the medication and order it. It's that simple. I've already received it in the mail, the only change is the color and design packaging of the tube dispenser. Before it was a yellow and white background with red lettering and now the plastic dispenser is white with navy, with an outer box in bright blue and yellow and red detailing.
Re: Louis (# 2)
I ordered 4 tubes fir $38 from Amazon and they cancelled the order after several weeks.
Re: Verwon (# 1)
Aspercreme is NOT the same. Myoflex is better no side effects that any one I know that used it. It was the only thing my mother could use for her arthritis
I found Myoflex on eBay from a company in Canada.
I ordered two tubes for $43 - it is expensive - but I've used it somewhere every day. Feet, legs. back (the main problem)
It helps my husband too.
Hope you find relief also.
Also, Myoflex is made by Bayer now - not Novartis.
