From what I could gather, Taxim-O is a brand of Cefixime. This medication is a cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections such as pneumonia; bronchitis; gonorrhea; and ear, lung, throat, and urinary tract infections.
I'm not sure why your doctor prescribed it for a fever, as to my knowledge, antibiotics will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections; unless it could've originated from an infection of some kind.

Taxim o dt 100 mg prescription giving my doctor to my 3 year old baby after giving her one tablet , In the next morning my baby getting seroius infection in her mouth and then we were admit her in the hospital. I dont understand what I will do.

My child is 3years10monthold. My baby on report of blood culture typhoid +has seen. Baby has temperature 102 every six hour and as per doctor given combiflem 5mg fever reduce.
Doctor today suggest taxim o 200mg per day two time 1.5 tablet each time
Is that perfect?
