I'm not sure this addresses ur question but it may b helpful. Ive noticed that the round generics knock me out and I'm hungover wen i wake, but the long skinny ones are way better. For a cpl hours after I take one, I'm incredibly relaxed, in a good mood, maybe even feel a little high, then I usually get ambien munchies then fall asleep. Walgreens has the rounds CVS has the Skinnies. Maybe ur local CVS and Walgreens have the same. Hope this helps someone out there.

They may sound the same, but they are certainly NOT the same. My pharmacy has been trying to give me substitutions every month for about 6 months now. Most do not work on me. They have tried to pawn off purple ones, yellow ones, different white ones, etc. If you are lucky, they all may work for you. But not for me.
The Torrent -manufacturer and Distributor - Qualitest are the best for ME. They are oblong white with the imprint "V" on one side and 6469 on the other.

The dosage and medication, however, is the same, they both contain 10mgs of Zolpidem as the active ingredient, a generic for Ambien.
