What is the correct way to take suboxone pill, white pill, 155 on one side, crescent moon on other? Do you put it under your tongue? Do you wait an hour after smoking, eating or drinking?

I would have to say NO. Suboxone should take away the urge to take any other opiates. It helps very well with opiate withdrawals. It's been a lifesaver for myself.

Hello,

Based on my research, you should drink a glass of water before taking this medicine to moisten your mouth. Place the sublingual tablet or sublingual film under the tongue and allow it to dissolve. You should not chew the tablet or film, and do not swallow it whole.

Be sure to never crush a tablet or dissolve a film to mix into a liquid for injecting the drug into your vein. From what I've read, this practice has resulted in death with the misuse of buprenorphine and similar prescription drugs. Do not take this medication with alcohol. Check your food and medicine labels to be sure these products do not contain alcohol.

Also, refrain from getting up too fast from a sitting or lying position, or you may feel dizzy. Get up slowly and steady yourself to prevent a fall. This medication may impair your thinking or reactions. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how Suboxone will affect you.
