i found out that i was pregnant & about 2-3 weeks, and i took searle pills insert 1 & swallow 2 but up to now my period has not come down as yet, so i was wondering if something is wrong here?

hey am Maya, i took the searle 1421 AAAA75 pill to abort a 6 weeks pregnancy. i took two, one vaginally an the other under my tongue. after 4 hours i experienced sever cramps and my bleeding started. the problem is i have been bleeding for almost 3 weeks now but its very very light. i dont even use pads for it but panty liners. my question is, is this normal? wasnt i suppose to get heavy bleeding an something should come out of me? is the bleeding less because i do sports? and does this pill really work to eliminate a pregnancy? ou one more, should i c a doctor?

Hi guyz last night I used these so called searle pills can't remember the no.My doc had advised me to take 3 1/2 pills orally n insert 1 1/2 pills in my vagina.It took me like 2hrs for it to terminate my pregnancy of 12wks...honestly I wouldn't advice anyone to abort,it has alot of effects psychologically...u won't blv it bt my boy came out wholy but dead(he was so small) jst as expected.Before that I had prayed to God that He rests him in peace n that the angels may watch over him till we meet again.I can't erase him from my mind but I will always pray for him...searle pills normally work provided ur doc isn't a jerk from the black streets n u jst follow his prescriptions n tht u give out precise info abt the pregnancy,very important...But always BEWARE of the consequences.

Hey Im 4 weeks pregnant and i have tooken two searle 1411 pills on yesterday .. I did a little spottin then it stop .. So I took another one today around the same time as yesterday .. I still have not experienced anything
Have anyone else experienced this and did you still had to end up having your baby??

Searle is the name of a drug manufacturer, that is now part of the Pfizer corporation, so I am not quite certain which one of their products you are talking about.

They manufacture both the Cytotec tablet, which can be used to induce abortion and a morning after tablet.

Cytotec contains the active ingredient Misoprostol, it is usually used completely vaginally, one every 12 hours, for a total of 3 dosages. If it is taken orally, the dosages are still split up and it is left to dissolve sublingually, between the gum and cheek.

The morning after pills are hormonal tablets, there are several of them, that are usually taken in one or two dosages, depending on which type they are, within 3 to 5 days of unprotected sex.

The main difference with this second option is that they only work to prevent implantation of the embryo. If you were already pregnant and took them, they will not abort the pregnancy. They are only effective for prevention.

Do you remember which one of these options it was that you used?

Even if you took the Misoprostol/Cytotec, it is not 100% effective at eliminating pregnancy, so you may need to see your doctor for another termination method.

Hi,I'm less than a month pregnant n took a2 searle tablets orally n inserted 1. De Dr gave me 2 extra 2 take after an hour bt m afraid of overdosing. M currently feelin lower abdominal cramps bt havnt seen my period. Should i take the other 2? *concerned*

Hi I'm 10 wks pregnant and I took 8 searle 1461 four orally, two inserted the same time and two d nxt morning, experienced cramping, heavy bleeding but little cloth blood do u think that it wrked? I took it On the 12th february this is the Second day after taking it I'm still bleeding do u think that it worked?
