Hello,
I am a little confused about what medications you are describing, so I will try to offer as much accurate information as possible.
In regards to the title of your post, are you referring to Diclofenac topical 3% and Gabapentin topical 6%?
If so, my research tells me that Diclofenac 3% topical gel is used to treat actinic keratosis (flat, scaly growths on the skin caused by too much sun exposure).
Tell your doctor if you experience any of the following side effects, or if they become severe:
-redness, itching, peeling or dry skin, irritation, swelling, or rash at the area where you applied the medication
-pain, burning, numbness, or tingling of the treated skin
-muscle, joint, or back pain
-headache
Some side effects may be serious. If you experience any of these symptoms call your doctor immediately:
-hives
-rash
-itching
-difficulty breathing or swallowing
-hoarseness

Gabapentin is usually prescribed as an oral medication for the treatment of seizures and pain- but is now available as a topical medication to provide extra pain relief. To my knowledge, Gabapentin topical 6% probably means that there is 6% of Gabapentin in the formulation.
Some side effects of Gabapentin include, but are not limited to:
-fever, swollen glands, body aches, flu symptoms
-skin rash, easy bruising or bleeding, severe tingling, -numbness, pain, muscle weakness
-upper stomach pain, loss of appetite, dark urine, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes)
-chest pain, irregular heart rhythm, feeling short of breath
-confusion, nausea and vomiting, swelling, rapid weight gain, urinating less than

Are there any comments or questions?
