What are the differences please?

Diamicron contains the active ingredient Gliclazide, so it was a different medication than the Metformin in the Glucophage.
If you didn't have good control of your blood sugar levels, your specialist might have wanted to switch you to this, because many people get very good results from it.
However, it may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and flatulence.
