I have also found that some doctors are giving Tramadol to treat anxiety. I've read that It should NOT be taken with methadone because it decreases the effectiveness of the methadone. I've been on both for several years and have not had a problem but if you notice your methadone isn't holding you and you are on Tramadol, say something to your doc.
