Weight Gain On Seroquel Or Trintellix

Which is more apt to cause weight gain, Seroquel (400mg) or Trintellix (10mg)?

Hi Heather,

Because everyone's body reacts and responds differently to each and every medication, there is no way to know ahead of time how your body will respond.

The only way to find out is to take each medication for a specific period of time through trial and error.

However - NIH.gov does list "weight gain" specifically as a side effect of Seroquel; whilst they list nothing of that sort under Trintellix (vortioxetine). So if I had to guess, Seroquel may be more likely to cause weight gain based off this information alone.
