Watson Hydrocodone Pills - Which Pharmacy Carries Them? (Page 2)

I live in northern ky and walgreens quit carrying watson brand and their new brand makes my whole body hurt. I want to find what pharmacies carry watson?
Re: Turtle (# 128)
The yellow Watson pills have not been available due to the yellow Watson pills being stopped manufactured since around 2015.
Re: Pauline (# 9)
I agree, the Mallinkro generic is what Walgreens and cvs use in my area. I thought it was me. It doesn't help with pain unless I take two and that barely works. It also depresses me, which Watson hydrocodone never did.
Re: Apple (# 1)
I'm in Copperhill Tennessee and the drugstore says they stop making the yellows. I can't take the white or blue, they make my stomach in pain. Do you know where I can get the yellows?
Cherokee pharmacy in taylor mill last time I was there
Re: Lula (# 12)
Good luck finding it.
I know for a fact that the 300 milligram is stronger.I found a small mom & pop place that has to order mine 5/300
Good luck
I have the same problem only not for Watson/activis hydrocodone but for soma! My Walgreen’s used to carry Watson then Watson changed and they started caring I believe Qualitest and now they don’t carry that and now I’m onto the side Jen manufacture and it doesn’t relieve the pain
Re: Lina (# 123)
I will post this once more: Watson quit producing hydrocodone tablets under the Watson name in 2016 or 2017. The Watson brand was a great brand until the government got involved and said that "opioids" were responsible for many deaths. The opioids that they were referring to is heroin but unfortunately ALL opioids were painted with the same brush. Street addicts being addicted to heroin and overdosing on it is the main problem.
Where in San Francisco is watson carried?
Re: roro (# 121)
No I can’t. And I get treated like a drug addict if I try to call and find it.
Re: yesido (# 4)
par pharm closed the alabama qualitest manufacturing facility i have not found them since march 19 ---can you still get them
Re: Marjorieson (# 118)
Watson has stopped producing any hydrocodone since sometime in 2016/2017.
Unfortunately the large chain pharmacies only order the cheapest generic form that they can find. Most are made in India and work poorly against pain and do cause side effects beyond that of the normal opioid. Even some of the mom and pop pharmacies are having a hard time getting anything of value due to 1) Reduction in production 2) companies stopped producing it. 3) companies out of business...etc.
Re: Apple (# 1)
I also took the Watson brand that worked so much better. Than the oblong white MFG Mallinckrodt- sub for Narco 10/325
Re: Medchatting (# 115)
I know there are Doctors out there that think everybody is gaming them no matter what your records show and how politely you speak to them. I know it. Is difficult to change Doctors but sometimes they leave you no choice. I am at a loss as to what to comment back to you. I have never had any problem with my Doctors as I explained to them how long I have been on a certain therapy, my age, and why I am on the regimen that I am on.i have seen at least 4 Neurosurgeons and they all independently wrote the same report by to my Doctor and they said the therapy I am on is the best course of action for me. I almost never suggest that anyone change Physicians but it sounds as you may not have any alternative.
Re: cliff j (# 111)
Thanks for your response. As I talked with the Neurosurgeon and Pain Specialist I was calm and collective without any drama. I believe they just looked at me and didn’t believe my pain and situation. To have a Neurosurgeon laugh in your face as you tell them the worst ever day you’ve had in your life experiencing the craziest spasms while at work was very traumatic for me because right then and there I felt he does not believe me. I was so depressed after I left his office. As far as the Pain Specialist He was very rude and sarcastic in his response to Go See What Your Surgeon Thinks and See What He Would Do. He only replied with that rude comment because my physician was taken back by not having the MRI with contrast. My physician suggested I asked him Why and I did calmly and mature. So I decided to ask the Pain Spec Why it wasn’t ordered with contrast. I knew that clinic made a mistake because before I seen the Spec a nurse came in and asked me questions about my pain and such. I first asked her why my MRI wasn’t ordered with Contrast since my physician who recommended this clinic to me asked me if I knew. She looked WIDED EYED and said OH it’s really bad in the kidneys. I said oh my kidneys are fine functionally, well I’ve never had a problem with my kidneys. I get a yearly blood screen and never had a red flag. She then said OH your kidneys can go at anytime. So at that point I thought OMG does she think I’m that stupid to believe that. Then the Spec came in after about 20 minutes and I honestly could tell he wasn’t interested in even talking to me. Our conversation lasted 10 minutes. I was again upset and depressed after this visit. I felt very strongly that he did not like to be questioned about my MRI. Any doctor / surgeon will tell you YES an MRI WITH CONTRAST SHOWS MUCH MORE AFTER A PERSON HAS HAD SURGERY. So I just feel I’m getting screwed by doctors / specialists. So I try to smile and carry on and if I can’t I don’t. I’m tired of faking smiles.
Re: Cliff J (# 113)
That makes perfect sense that the amount taken and at what time of day makes a big difference.
See someone like yourself that took the initiative to analyze what the safest way would be to take the pain killer and benzo should be allowed to take them. In other words you are a very responsible patient.
You shouldn't be lumped together with someone just haphazardly swallowing a pill everyday.
Thank you for pointing that out to me.
Re: Bravesfan (# 112)
First, the amount is benzodiazepines you take and when has a lot to do with it. I have taken only 1 mg of Lorazapam and 3-4 7,5 hydrocodonr with 325 mg acetaminophen for over 12 years. I have bad shoulder pain from a ski fall and a bad back from a fall during an ice storm, I never take the hydrocodone after 5 and I do not take the Lorazapam until after 8:30 at night. It is for anxiety and helps me sleep better. Taking such a small amount hours apart has made it safe for me.
Re: cliff j (# 111)
You are extremely fortunate that your doctor is still willing to script a pain killer and a benzo together. My PM quit doing it at least 5 years ago and still asks at each appointment if my meds have changed and am I receiving a benzo from any other doctor. They are that concerned about the dangers of the combo. I believe it was maybe 3 or 4 years ago when the CDC strongly suggested there were far too many deaths due to the combo and doctors should not script them together period. I agree that someone like yourself that has such success with the combo and has had no problems should be able to decide if the risk is worth taking.
I have taken Percocet for more than 15 years and February 2018, I was given Camber brand and got deathly ill. I felt poisoned. Vomiting, terrible stomach cramps, shaking, dizziness, no pain control, just awful. After two weeks I read that this was happening to lots of people. First I called Walgreens and was told once I leave the store, nothing they can do. So called my PM who was kind enough to script me enough hydrocodone to get me to my next refill. The pharmacy has been ordering Actavis brand for me ever since. Two months ago they told me it no longer showed up on their order form which means they cannot order it. Started getting me Mallinkrodt which has been fine.
In doing research I found that Camber is based in India and has only been manufacturing Percocet for a couple of years and you guessed it, its very cheap! It took me a good 30 days to feel like my old self again. I have literally been on every manufacturer of Percocet at one time or another and never felt like that. Very scary!
Re: Just medchatting (# 110)
I wish that I knew what to recommend to you but I just do not. I know nothing about Michigan. As a general rule I will just say that when talking to any medical professional that one needs to muster up all of the inner strength they can and talk to ANY Doctor calmly and without any drama. These Doctors are used to people trying to work them for pain medications and these people are real drama queens and put on quite the show thinking that if they act this way they will get what they are asking for. Most of the time they get reactions like you received. After over 12 years of receiving hydrocodone AND lorazapam to help me sleep at night the Pharmacy I went to hired a new Pharmacist and he said he did not agree with my Doctor and wanted me try other options. I am almost 70 and I do not have other options. I asked the Pharmacist: Are you trained to make a medical diagnosis? Have you ever examined me? Do you have my medical history? Of course the answer was no to each question. I advised him to fill the prescriptions and leave the examination and medical history up to my DOCTOR. A Pharmacist is NOT a medical Doctor. Their training allows them to know which medications go with other medications. I don't care if they ask me HOW i am taking the hydrocodone and the Lorazapam (1/2 mg at night) together because benzodiazapam and hydrocodone do not mix if they are taken improperly. I do not want to go on about me. I will just say try and find the right Doctor and speak unimpassionately about your history. I hope that helps.
