Warfarin And Cymbalta?

I take Warfarin due to a history of DVTs, and I also suffer from depression and pretty significant anxiety (GAD). After trying other meds that didn't work, my Dr prescribed Cymbalta. Rxlist indicates a moderate interaction risk, and I saw one message board where people were sharing horror stories about mixing these meds, but the pharmacist said they're safe to use together.

Does anyone here have experience with these drugs together? Did they do okay or were there problems? TIA

I haven't taken either one, but I can provide you information on the possible interaction.

Taking them together could actually result in your needing a lower dose of Warfarin, because the Cymbalta tends to increase the levels of it.

Other side effects for Cymbalta, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight gain.
