Hi Florencia,

Based on my research,

The usual dose for patients with irritable bowel syndrome and similar conditions or symptoms ie: diarrhea and/or constipation, is 1 capsule twice daily, 10 - 15 minutes before breakfast and lunch. Some severe cases that are difficult to control or may require a dose increment of 1 capsule three times a day.

I also read that it is helpful to those dealing with Irritable bowel syndrome to reduce 20% of the daily fat intake, doing so should help with intestinal gas.

Side effects are rare, but may include: abdominal pain, pruritus, rash, regurgitation and dysphagia.
