When I measure Voltaren gel on the enclosed plastic card, do I squeeze out a thin layer or a thick layer? ## Hi, Arthur! From what I can find, it should just be the amount that's naturally expelled when you gently squeeze the tube to put the gel onto the card to measure, so you shouldn't thin it out or apply any excess pressure to the tube or you may get too much. I know it's a bit hard to really picture it, so what I'd suggest is that you go ask your doctor or pharmacist, one of them should be able to demonstrate it for you so you can see the proper amount. Are there any other questions?

I was told by my Dr to use Voltaren on my cold sores is this a correct usage? ## Hi Mel, Based on my research, Voltaren (diclofenac) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the relief of joint pain of osteoarthritis in the knees, ankles, feet, elbows, wrists, and hands. It seems to have no mention of being used for cold sores, but I have read posts from other who have used it for that purpose with good results. In that sense it could just be a common off-label usage for the drug. I hope this helps!

taking symbalta 90mg.q.d. allose using voltaren imogelel b.i.d.Could there be side effect.thank you. ## My findings state that there are in fact unsafe interactions between Cymbalta (duloxetine) and Voltaren (diclofenac). Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "MONITOR: Serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SRIs) may potentiate the risk of bleeding in patients treated with ulcerogenic agents and agents that affect hemostasis such as anticoagulants, platelet inhibitors, thrombin inhibitors, thrombolytic agents, or agents that commonly cause thrombocytopenia. The tricyclic antidepressant, clomipramine, is also a strong SRI and may interact similarly. Serotonin release by platelets plays an important role in hemostasis, thus SRIs may alter platelet function and induce bleedi...

is there a possibility to give the injection of voltaren and neurobion mixed together in one syringe only? is there any chemical reaction between voltaren injection and neurobion if injected intramuscular in one site only? ## Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between the active ingredients in Voltaren (diclofenac) and Neurobion (multivitamin). This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. Personally, I wouldn't take a risk like this even with evidence of no "drug interactions", but then again Neurobion is just vitamins and it would probably just come down to which binders or fillers are present in each tablet. Have you sought out a doctor&...

peach color ## It's a non-steroid anti-inflammatory. It's in the same drug class as Advil, Motrin, Aleve, Orudis. It is usually prescribed to take every 8 to 12 hours, unless it's the extended-release version which gets taken once a day. Good idea is to take with food or milk, it can be rough on the tummy. I used it for all-over aches with fibromyalgia and it worked well. My fibro has lessened so now I just take Advil as needed. I took the same dose, 50mg, but a doctor MAY prescribe a higher dosage if you don't get releif from the dose he/she starts you at. You want to take as low a dose as possible (in my unprofessional opinion) because like other drugs in this class, long term use can lead to stomach bleeding. It doesn't have any properties that it would make you h...
