Difene In Australia

Hi while in Galway,Ireland,on holidays,my wife got some difene from a chemist.she had severe pain in her knees and could not walk.the drug 75mg tablets worked.Back in Australia our doctor prescribed voltaren.not the same effect.we want to purchase difene.Can you help.?

Hi Peter,

Each Difene capsule contains Diclofenac Sodium 75 mg in a modified release formulation (25 mg in the form of enteric coated release pellets and 50 mg in the form of sustained release pellets).

If anything I would suggest contacting the manufacturer directly to see if your pharmacy can mail order it for you or compose a pill with similar sustaining and immediate release properties.
