What is acid bacilosis? ## This is actually referred to as "lactic acid bacillus". It is a member of the genus Lactobacillus. My girlfriend has been looking for this info. ## I am not sure what post you were responding to, in the future to respond to a post, you should use the box directly underneath it that says: Post a reply to this topic. Otherwise, the posters don't get a notification that you posted a reply. And on the hairloss issues, since I don't know what was in the post you are referring to, another thing that people may want to look into is Biotin. A deficiency in it can cause some hairloss and supplementing it has been shown to help arrest it and to encourage hair regrowth. Are there any questions or comments?

I found a large light purple tablet (like the size of a vitamin, but without the smell), oblong/oval in shape. It is un-imprinted on one side, and scored on the other. I recently had several international exchange students in my home, after which time I found two of these pills on the floor and I am desperately trying to find out if this is an illegal substance or not. ## I'm sorry, but if there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to determine what these tablets contain. I am prescribed Piracetam tabs and I would like to know wheter it is contraindicated with consumption of any alcoholic drink. Or can I have a peg or two once in a week and still can take the said medicine. Any other perecaution such as having sex regularly or so. Please advise. ## It is usually not advisable to mix any medication with alcohol, because it can enhance the side effects of the medication, making them worse. I am taking supraneuron for the first time. I merely asked the pharmacy for any vitimin b-complex and this tablet was recommended to me. For 2 days now, since I started taking the tablet, I seem to feel very slight difficulty of breath. I am not sure if it is because of the table, though. I wish to know the contents of the tablet, including indications. Unfortunately, the pharmacy where I bought the medicine has no available literature regarding the medicine. ## Have you spoken to your doctor? This tablet contains 250mgs of B1, 250mgs of B6 and 500mcgs of B12. I underwent an operation due to an ectopic pregnancy. My doctor advised me to take Folic Acid -Folart, as maintenance for 1 year, to make my uterus healthy. Is there any disadvantage to taking folic acid for 1 year as maintenance after the operation? Is anybody knows if I can find neurobion 500 in Poland? Thanks ## I'm sorry, but since we are based in the U.S., I don't know exactly what is available in other countries. I can, however, provide you with information on this supplement, so you can try to find an equivalent there. Neurobion contains 100mgs of Vitamin B1, 200mgs of Vitamin B6 and 200mcgs of Vitamin B12. There are many B complex products on the market in most countries, so it may just be easier to find a product that contains the same ones in the same amounts. My prescription is 1MG I want to make sure I have the right one. My pills are light yellow, and small. I just had a refill and they seem a little bigger. I have got hepetitis B. I heared from one of TV medical program that medicine for this problem is Alpha Folic Acid. I do not understand, what kinde of medecine it is. what should be the dosage and for how long should I take it, what would be the side affects of using it. ## I believe what you heard them referring to was Alpha Lipoic Acid. It is not actually a medication though, it is a nutritional supplement that is believed to help support liver function, as well as having other health benefits. Therefore, it should not the first line treatment for any form of Hepatitis, because it is not actually proven to do anything. I have been recommended this capsule for my hair loss ailment. Is this safe ? is this effective ?? ## I can't find any specific information on this, other than that it is listed as a multivitamin supplement, not an actual medication. Therefore, there should be no harm in taking it, unless your doctor advises you not to do so. Sometimes a lack in some vital nutrients, such as Biotin can contribute to hair loss.
