Visine Lr Discontinued? (Page 7)

Having problems finding this product. Has it been discontinued and if so, do you know why?

if you go to Visine.com, they still have LR listed as one of their products. That is promising I supposed but I am still not convinced that this product hasnt been discontinued. My suggestion to all...stock up on Visine Workplace before you can't find that anymore. I was able to find 6 bottles of LR online before they all sold out.

Just an FYI, if you order Visine Workplace from CanadaPharmacy, use code CP07 for $5 off your order. I bought two bottles, so the total was only $10 with the discount. If you have already placed an order with them, try CJ2010 for a 5% off discount.

I will post again with my verdict on Visine Workplace. I have Visine Multi-Symptom in my purse, and it is utter crap.

After months of searching every pharmacy in St. Lawrence, Jefferson and Franklin Co., I found the last bottle at Rite Aide in Potsdam, NY yesterday. Ex. date 8/11

There is something strange about this whole situation. Why hasn't Visine put anything on their website about Visine LR and the reason we can't find it? I think it's been discontinued and for some unknown reason they don't want to tell us.

Glebe Apothecary in Ottawa, Ontario is sold out online. I purchased one bottle about two weeks ago and started to worry so I ordered another and now they are out. Visine must be discontinuing it.

No, I agree with everyone something is very strange indeed. That is why I am still uncertain about the whole situation and what VISINE reported to me. I am in California and I have beens searching the entire state for months. Nothing. Seems weird that everyone's expiration dates are near 8/2011. If anyone gets through to VISINE by phone, please post their response.

Christina, what I am wondering is why Visine would say that it is not being discontiued if it really is. Why wouldn't they just announce it ? why would they care if we complained. they would just explain that demand was down etc. It is baffling to say the least. I'm going to keep calling until I get through. I'll keep you posted.

I forgot to include in my previous post that I purchased the Canadian equivalent of Visine LR called Visine Workplace from a Canadian pharmacy in Ottawa. What I didn't include was the expiration date was 01/11 which is proof that it is older stock and possibly Canada's supply will be exhausted soon too! Oh, Laudy, what are we going to do!

At the end of this, there is a Marketing Start Date which is April 5, 2010. Anyone have any clue what this is all about? Could it be production was started again on April 5, 2010?????

Just got off the phone with J&J again. Representative reiterated that they are experiencing difficulties with distribution, and that the product is not discontinued. In the mean time, use Lorina's coupon code for CanadaPharmacy.

I just received my Visine Workplace from Canada. While I haven't tried it yet, the ingredients are exactly the same as Visine LR. I am disappointed in the fact that the expiration date is 1/2011...so this must be older stock because you usually get a later expiration date. I bought it from Feelbest.com...so you might want to avoid this site if they only have stock that expires in 8 months.

I too, can no longer find Visine LR, I used to get it from Lucky's and that was the only place I was able to find it. I knew they were going to do this with this product, I could just feel it., Usually when a product does the job and people find out about it the other products don't sell as well. aha, they discontinue the product that keeps flying off of the shelves to force consumers to buy something else. The system is flawed my people.

Conny, Order from CanadaPharmacy.com (Visine Workplace) or if you need it fast try Ebay. It's going to cost you a pretty penny on Ebay but there are some there.

I live in NY (bronx) and I can find Visine LR in most pharmacies.. I recently bought one in RiteAid and it expires 12/2011. Its crazy to read about so many people that can't find this little yellow labeled bottle. Move to NY is my suggestion
