This is the best.. Amazon has it for $79.99 for a .5 oz. bottle, show list price of $6.11. Whoever buys it at this price will be sorry when it show up on the shelves agin for $5.99. This stuff was discontinued in Canada about 12 yrs. ago, but I live in a border town and was always able to get it quite easily from the U.S.

Krissy and Ron, can you please explain the Afrin Nasal Spray? Are you putting it directly in your eyes, and which brand, there are several different types, such as Afrin 12 hour, extra strength, etc.

This would be fantastic if this actually works, I am almost out, and just ordered six bottles of Visine Workplace from Canada Pharmacy.

Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it is clearly extortion and those individuals should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for selling this product at the ridiculous prices they are selliing them for - People, DO NOT fall for this and DO NOT BUY at these rates - this product will be back on the shelves soon!!

why would anyone want to put nasal spray in your eyes and pay 10 to 20 times the retail price when the answer to all our problems can be found at canadapharmacy. Visine packages visine lr in canada under a different name : canada workplace. the ingredients are exactly the same. mine came in the mail in 5 days. it is 5 dollars a bottle with 5 dollars shipping per order. i ordered 6 bottles. i have been using it for almost 2 weeks with no problems.

ok. i just got off the phone with visine. as others have reported here they are having problems obtaining the ingredients for vlr. they hope it will be resolved within 4 to 6 weeks. they stated that it is not being discontinued. I also asked about workplace and they said that it does indeed have the same ingredients as vlr.

I just tried the Workplace. It feels different, just doesn't do the job. There must be something special in the LR because how can Visine make the workplace and not the LR? And I think my vision is worth it to get the available LR on the internet rather than putting nasal sprays into my eyes.

This is awful, I checked 6 stores today and no Yellow bottle. I have been using Visine LR since 2003. Hopefully this Visine Workplace stuff works with the Oxymetazoline.

Jessie- Glad you go through to Visine. I guess that sounds promising. At least they are telling us all the same thing. I did submit a question to the website that Sean posted a few days ago and am waiting to hear a response back from them. I will post it once I do.

I recently found a corner store by my subway stop that has about 5 of them left. I bought 2. I plan to buy the rest of them tomorrow, so I can have my own private stash. Imagine my excitement when accidentally stumbling on them. It was like winning the lottery. I now have one for home and one for the office. Another great, but expensive combo is Thera Tears and Naphcon-A or Opcon-A (same ingredients). The Naphcon/Opcon burns, but the Thera Tears will help eas the pain and both used together will clear your eyes right up.

Correction to my previous post: Naphcon/Opcon-A has the same ingredients as each other. Opcon being cheaper. They do not have the same ingredients as Visine-LR

I think the reason visine is still able to produce workplace but not LR is due to import laws being different in Canada then they are here in the US. From what i can tell from the posts on this site LR is not sold in Canada. I was told by the rep at visine that they are having trouble with the importing of the active ingredient.

Hello Johnson & Johnson: You've been promising for months to resolve your distribution problem with Visine L.R. Callers can't even get through anymore to the telelphone number you've given us. When we contact you via email, you tell us to call. Why would you treat us like this? Did you know that private vendors sell Visine L.R. for up to $60 a bottle on Amazon.com and eBay?

All of this is going on because your customer service agents really don't know what's going on themselves. They are instructed to give empty promises to people who have been loyal customers of J&J for years.

Please respond to my question/concerns listed above & not send me another form email. I can't get through on the telephone lines anyway & even if I could, reps don't know anything.

I received a response from Sean's website that basically referred me to contact the FDA so that is what I am doing. I agree with you Jessie, it must be a problem with importing the active ingredient. (At least, they told me the same thing.)
I find it astonishing how some people can try to exploit people when they truly are in need. Of course, I am referring to those trying to make a profit at the expense of others. I agree with many of you, buy in Canada and avoid the extortionists.

You are so right Christina in using the word extortionist to describe these people who are charging 1000 percent markups. Anyway I am completely satisfied with the visine workplace drops. It has been over two weeks since I first started using them and I find no difference at all.

I just ordered a bottle of Visine Workplace today. I will let everyone know how it works. I have half a bottle of LR left and it's like keeping track of the Hope Diamond! I can't function without this stuff....Please J&J bring it back!

I just ran out of the last bit of Visine L.R. eye drops. I alway replenish before running out but I have been unable to find it. This has been my favorite eye redness reliever for many years. I have tried other visine drops but none works as well as the Visine L.R. K-mart amd WalMart had been my main places for purchasing this product, and when I tried them they did not have it. I have never known K-mart not to have it. On one occasion, they had it 2 for $5.00. I purchased six totalled. The stuff works great. I pray it hasn't been discontinued. This stuff wipes away tired, red eyes in an instant.
