Vimpat/ Withdrawal Symptoms

Hello: I have just started Vimpat. I took one half pill of the 50mg and one full 50mg. I want to not take this medication anymore because I have bad chest pains/ side pains/ headaches and feel like a zombie. I go to the on Tuesday. If I do not take anymore until than will there be withdraws symptoms. P.S. The only seizure I have taken since August 2014.

Hello, Jessica! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems that you're having.

If you had chest pain, yes you do need to stop taking this medication and contact your doctor. You could be having a bad reaction to it and will most likely need to try something else.

No, there likely won't be any withdrawal symptoms, since you only took a few doses.

What other medications have you tried?
