Viibryd Causing Many Issues... Help!

Hi everyone, this is my first post here but I am looking for some answers and opinions. I am a 21 yo female who was first prescribed Viibryd last year after lifelong GAD. I took 5mg regularly, at dinner, for three months with little to no side effects besides slight insomnia. It seemed to work well but as a forgetful person, I missed my dose many times with no withdrawal.
After forgetting to take the Vii, I eventually stopped altogether, I was completely off the Viibryd for about 8 months.
After a rough semester at uni, I fell into a depression after becoming ill and missing class. I had the flu for a week, and then bronchitis that I am still recovering from (this was two-now almost three- weeks ago!!).
I began the medication again, about one week after getting the flu. I now take it before bed with a snack, although I'm considering moving the time to after breakfast due to sleep issues.
Week one was great, although I believe it may have been the placebo effect. I was full of energy, getting my schoolwork done, and enjoying only GI side effects.
Week two, everything changed. I was lethargic, depressed, and overanalyzing everything. I have had a plethora of side effects including diarrhea, indigestion, silent reflux, hair loss, brain fog, insomnia, and (ironically) ANXIETY.
Mid-week three, brain fog, insomnia, silent reflux and anxiety still persist.
I am considering weaning myself off of this wicked drug, but since I am only on week three I am hesitant.
Did I start when I was under too much stress? Will the side effects subside? More importantly, will my brain fog lift if I stop taking it? I am worried that this drug has caused permanent effects, and would like to stop immediately if they have any chance of getting worse.

Such side effects are usually transient and tend to go away, once your body gets used to the medication, according to FDA reports. That usually takes anywhere from 3 to 5 weeks. If they persist after that, you should consult our doctor.

Silent reflux is actually a misnomer, the proper term is laryngopharyngeal reflux and may require medical treatment. Do you take any medications for it? Have you consulted an ENT?

How are you feeling, now? Has there been any change?
