I recently moved to Las Vegas, and wish to continue my fairly small prescription for Vicodin due to shoulder pain that surgery couldn't solve. I only need a name of a doctor or clinic that will consider prescribing. The current opioid problems have mad it difficult to find anyone that can help.

Our 2 male Chihuahuas got into a terrible fight over our female who's in heat. Our older male sustain some pretty bad injuries and puncture wounds on his side. We are trying to maintain keeping the wounds as clean as possible but still they got a little infected and I have that under control but I know he's in pain. We are very strapped for money and I have some Vicodin that was prescribed to me. Would it be safe to give the little guy like a tiny crumb off of one of them for his pain?

The FDA has requested that all such combination narcotic medications be changed to only contain a maximum of 325mgs of the Acetaminophen, due to the danger of liver toxicity and overdose toxicity. Some manufacturers have already begun to implement the change and they are all expected to have it completely by January of 2014. Thus, starting one of them now is likely not a good idea, anyway. when I was first prescribed vicodin they were Watson, 349...then later 352 and then 357 and now 363 and 368. What do those numbers mean. The ones I felt that worked best were the 349 and 357 Watson. I may be wrong in the numbers (years have gone by since ) but I think I am right. I haven't been taking my meds and now they want to take a blood screen test to show I've been taking them. How long does it take (if I take them today) to get in my blood for them to read from the test results a positive result of usage?

Ive have been using vicodin/narco for 15 yr i recently started soboxine and it is a life save ... From what I can tell Cherokee Hills Pharmacies appear to be Oklahoma based. We certainly don't have one of those pharmacies here in Idaho. But all I really wanted to say was that you may have to visit several different pharmacies in your area until you find one that is willing and able to fill your prescription with the correct manufacturer that works best for you. That is correct, Qualitest Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as containing 750mgs of Methocarbamol, which is a muscle relaxant. I have MS and have used vicodin for specific MS related pain relief for over 4 years. I had been taking 7.5-500 vicodin but they have since been discontinued due to the high level of acetaminophen. I take up to 4 pills a day of 7.5-325 vicodin. My question is would changing from 7.5-325 to 10-325 vicodin create the possibility that I may not need up to 4 pills per day? I want to discuss this with my MS doctor because my layman thinking is that I probably wouldn't need 4 pills a day and therefore not be taking so much acetaminophen. ## Hello, Tony! How are you? Under current U.S. prescription drug laws, all manufactured tablets and capsules must have markings on them that enable them to be identified in case of emergency. For example, say someone is found unconscious with pills strewn around them, the paramedics would need to know what they had taken in order to provide proper treatment and they can find out, by looking at the markings on the pills and checking in the databases to see what they contained. Another example would be in case of product contamination, then the medications needs to be able to be traced back to a specific manufacturer, in order to rectify the problem and initiate a possible recall. I took 1.5 of watson 853 (white) and it hit me hard. I then jumped on a plane for 3 hours and had an unpleasant experience. All I had to go with it was a subway sandwich, a gatorade, and a few bottles of water. I have felt nauseous since I've taken it; later on it has been better but comes in waves, and as I've tried to sleep I was woken up by a 'good feeling' rushing up from my feet to my head with an increase of heart rate. Hello, I've been prescribed 5/325 due to chronic Back pain from degenerative disc disease (DDD). The meds make me feel really focused and alert, not drowsy. Now before I see a bunch of threads to tell me to stay clear of these drugs, I am not here to discuss addiction. I seeking out answers to two questions: why/how does it make me feel more focused and what alternatives are out there which don't give me this "high alert" feeling? What can cause a false positive urine test for vicodin? ## I am just very upset now I have been this way for days. I was tested and my vicodin did not show up in my urine at all. 2xs before that it showed up as diluted. I take my pills 4xs a day everyday. All 3xs I was tested they had me drinking water. I drank so much water I about puked when she tested me. I didnt even watch her bag the urine or anything. i am so stunned and go fused of what is going on now the doctor basically thinks i'm selling my pills and told me to find a different doctor. I've been prescribed 10mg targin with 600mg of Gabapentin , can I take a Vicodin a couple of hrs later to help relieve nerve pain ... I don't want to overdose .. ## Hello, Nina! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. You should stick with one or the other, since both Targin and Vicodin contain Acetaminophen, taking too much of it daily, or in any 8 hour period could result in overdose toxicity, which may be fatal. I could also be dangerous to double up on the narcotics, as well.
