Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. In my opinion, another key component to weaning off is to have your doctor make you a tapering schedule on a calendar in order track your progress and keep you on the right path to complete your goal within a specific time frame. I an starting a new pain Dr. i have been without meds for over a month now. Yesterday (Sunday) about 10 pm my mom accidentally gave me a vicodin instead of the aspirin i asked for. I do my first drug screen tomorrow (Tuesday) will it show up? I'm 5"9 200lbs and diabetic. Need to know please,!! ## Yes, more than likely. But hydrocodone, like most opiates, is easily flushed out with water if u have some time. My advise Would be drink water till you are pissing clear, and 4-5 hours before your test take a few b complex vitamins with some creotine suppliment to avoid a diluted looking sample. Its basically pissing water made to pass for piss. This Works on most piss tests. ## I took a half of Percocet on Sunday at one. I have a test tomorrow at nine. Will I pass?

Hi I am prescribed vicodin 5/500 120x/month for my arthritis I have a question, I wanted something with less acepthemanophen and was prescribed vicodin 5/325, I went to the pharmacy and they said there was no such thing, so I told my doctor and he prescribed me vicodin 5/300 , they are EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. My question is how come the pharmacy said there is no such thing as vicodin 5/325 , and also is there a generic version of 5/300 ? Is it because on the script my doctor writes "vicodin" and not hydrocodone ? Hello I want to know if there is any dr in RI that that can help me with pain management. I take Lortab 10mg, 30 mg oxycodone. I am looking for another dr. To continue my care. I had a bad accident driving patients to appointments at work. Someone hit us and we was thrown into a house head on. I have Vicodin in my system. I've been taking it for years (about 80 mg a day). If I took Vicodin this morning and I wanted to take a Subutex today around noon, can I do that or will I go into withdrawal? The Subutex I'm talking about is the orange over 1 with the 153 on one side and a half a moon shape on the other side. ## You must be in full withdrawal, before you can take Subutex, or it could cause you to go into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. Will I feel vicodin if it's been over 72 hours since suboxone? I was only on the suboxone for 4 days and did not take it previously? I have neuropothy in both my feet. I take Vicodin, gabapentin, and amitriptyline for the horrible pain it causes. Because I'm limited to activities I'm having trouble keeping my weight down and I wanted to try that life gardinia something or other and apple cider vinegar because i heard it can have some surprisingly great results but im concerned about mixing anything with the meds I'm already taking. Any suggestions for something stronger than vicodin? It really doesn't work anymore. I take two 7.5mg doses every 4 hours 3 x a day and A LOT of motrin. ## Wow! Does your doctor know that you are taking the Vicodin and Motrin? It is really not good to be taking both of those. The Vicodin contains Acetaminophen and the Motrin contains Ibuprofen. As to what else you can use for pain, there are many other options on the market, if the Hydrocodone in the Vicodin is no longer cutting it. One option that would be stronger is Percocet, which contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. Just wanted to know what this half of a pill is i found in my house. Its white an oblong shape I can see the M on the front side or whatever side it is and when I turn it over I see a 5 an then a score mark but I cant see whats after the score mark because it was broke in half just after the 5 an the score..Its not as thick of a pill as like a vicodin an there arent any numbers right after the M generally it would say M363 or M367 but this has no numbers directly next to it..Please help I have no clue what this is!!! I have pills imprinted with 0037 that are made by Trispharma. Supposedly they are Vicodins 10/325 by Trispharma. Can anyone tell me if this is correct? Can't find the identification on the web. ## The only white oblong pill imprint I'm seeing by Tris Pharma that remotely resembles this is "G037"... and on the back side it just has a score line. Hello. I found half a pill in my husbands pants while doing laundry. It's a off white/ light yellow pill. One side looks like it has a V or maybe a W (only have half the pill) the other side looks like a 6 or a 9. I do know that he was 'feeling good on only half of it' (from a text I saw on his phone) I asked him about this and he just shrugged me off and got mad. I would really like to know what I am up against and info would be helpful! I do have two pictures of it. ## @IDme, Might you be referring to a V 36 01 generic Vicodin tablet, that is light yellow in color? These oblong pills have a score line down the center for dividing the tablet in half, and from what I can tell, if you held the half containing a "V", you'd also have the 3 or 6 on the opposite half....

I took 7 vicodin 7.5/325 in 12 hours today. I didn't know I took that many until I counted when I got home. Kinda freaked out. Should i be worried? Usually I take 2 a few times during the day but not 7. Is this terrible or have people taken more and not caused an acetaminophen overdose or a ton of liver damage? I over worry about s***.

I received some Norco the other day that I do not recognize. They are orange in color inside and out, snap easily in half and dissolve very quickly in water. They are about the same color as the old orange baby aspirin. They had the typical markings with a fancy V in one side and 3605 on the other. These are the same markings as the Vicodin I usually get and they were the exact same shape but the color and consistency were wrong. A friend used some and she noticed they dissolve very quickly and leave a grit in the glass. Has anyone else run across these or are they an actual new Vicodin? May thanks
