what's the diferrence between the m357 and v 35 92? I've been taking m357 for over a year and the pharmacist changed it to v35 92 which makes me very nauseus(it's been a month now). it's the same dosage 5/500 . Anybody know? ## I just looked up both pills and found that they are manufactured by two different companies and contain different inactive ingredients (which might be the culprit to the nausea). Darvocet contains Acetaminophen and Propoxyphene, while Vicodin contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen. Both the Propoxyphene and the Hydrocodone are narcotic opioids, however, the Propoxyphene has actually been removed from the market, in most countries, due to the extreme risk it causes of cardiac dangers. As to the urine test, it really depends on what type of test they are doing. Some of them just detect narcotics in general and not the specific ones, but there are others that are much more precise. By taking once a day for severe back pain - will you become addicted to them. ## Vicodin pills can come in various shapes and colors regardless of dosage (It depends on the manufacturer you are talking about). The most common look I have seen for this pill is probably white and oblong with a score line on one side. I don't know how many different manufacturers make Vicodin, but if you can provide the name of the one in question I can possibly look it up on their website and let you know the description. But in regards to addiction; I cannot tell you whether or not you will get addicted as I don't know anything about your medical history or current state of health, etc; (that is a question for your doctor), however my suggestion is to take them as long as you are prescribed for, ...
