I TAKE VICODIN I AM PRESCRIBED BY PAIN MANAGEMENT, I HAVE TO TEST ONCE A MONTH AT THE END OF THE MONTH, WILL THE DR. BE ABLE TO TELL I SKIPPED WEEK 2? WHEN THEY TEST THE LEVELS CAN THEY DETECT FOR THE WHOLE MONTH O IS IT JUST THE LAST 4-5 DAYS? ## Since the Hydrocodone in Vicodin is only detectable in a urine test for about 4 to 5 days, after last dosing, I would have to assume that the average that it shows would also only pertain to recent usage, as well. I have to take a blood test soon.my doctor put me on Vicodin 7.5. I havn,t been taking them. They make me sick. My Probation Officer knows I take prescription pain meds for severe migraines. I am prescribed vicodin and when break-through pain occurs and I cannot get hold of the neurologist-most often the case-and the pain is severe enough I wind up in the ER...they may give me a shot and a small script to go home on. I was told its vicodin ## This marking is actually intended to be 6I (that's a capital i) and no, it does not contain a narcotic of any type. O.k so firstly I would like to state why I have been taking Vicodin. I first started because of a BAD back, which unfortunately includes 1 herniated disc, 3 bulging discs, and diffuse spondylosis, hence widespread arthritis in my lower back. As well as what was described to me by the orthopedic surgeon, as an abnormally narrow spinal canal. This however, has been a recurring injury for a while as it eventually stopped me from playing football since I got my first bulging disc in the 7th grade. And gradually I got worse and worse because my condescending doctor INSISTED that I merely had a strain. Hydroco / Acetamin 10-325 tabl What is is used for and what are the side effects ## This medication is a generic for Vicodin, Lortab and Norco, so there are several dosages available and it is manufactured by several different companies, thus I can't possibly post pictures of all of them. I found a pill that is an off white/light tan color thats oval and is blank on one side then has vicodin writin on the other. Okay I've got one of these from a friend because my backs been in pain a few days out of the week usually. Last week I took about 5 vicodin in 2 days.. But this is a 30op oxy and ive never messed with something this strong.. So what I'm getting at.. Is it safe for me to take this knowing I have a low tolerance? I'm about 100lbs.. ## If you have a low tolerance to narcotics, taking this could be risky, due to the fact that it can cause depression of the central nervous system and since Oxycodone is very potent, the starting dose is usually much lower. I have experienced chronic, generalized pain due to Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, and various other maladies. I am only 55 years old and suffer from severe, advanced C.O.P.D. I have less than 30% usage of my lungs. I don't have long to live, so it is difficult to understand why these doctors are so paranoid re' prescribing!! I was prescribed Darvocet until it was removed from the market, and then placed on Vicodin. The Vicodin helped me enormously; pain free. I cannot take the medications approved by the FDA for Fibromyalgia (i.e., Lyrica, Cymbalta, etc.), as I experience adverse side effects.
