been taking m363 & it worked. Recently pharmacy switched to watson 540 (white oval) noting 'different brand'? Is it just me, or is it possible they don't work as well on me? Seem to take more, which I don't wanna' do. ## Its not the medicine its you as you have developed opiate tolerance. You can tootle that and read about it. If you keep taking. This. You are going to be addicted. Is that what you want? You should read about opiates BEFORE you started taking them. Then you would know. They cause addiction to the same degree they relieve pain. I found a white oval shaped thing with specks of red in my cat food. Is this just hard mold with red dots or is someone trying to poison my Kitty cat with Vicodin? ## Hello, I'm sorry to hear about the substance you found in your cat's food. Unfortunately, I can't accurately identify the substance you found unless there is an imprint. Based on the description you provided, it's very likely that the substance is Vicodin. To be safe, I would completely dispose of your cat's food. It's sad that there are people in this world who would intentionally harm someone else's pet! You may want to keep your cat's food in a different spot (where no one can tamper with it), just in case someone is trying to inflict harm on him/her. I hope this helps, please post back i...

Does anyone know a doctor in Saginaw, mi that will perscribe pain pls with making me jump through hoops? ## Hi, Leni! I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having, however…. They are all going to be strict about it, they have no choice in the matter, anymore. New government regulations have been put in place with strict criteria of what medications they can prescribe, what reasons they can prescribe them, how long they can prescribe them, how much they can prescribe and etc. If a doctor doesn't follow the regulations, they run the risk of being stripped of their license to practice medicine. Are there any other questions I can help with? ## Did you happen to find a doctor? if not might know of one. ## No, I haven't found one yet. Would appreciate any help. T...

Is there a dr in or near Morris,MN that will prescribe me percoset instead of vicodin, which is totally not strong enough for my back pain? MY current dr wants to leave me on vicodin but there worthless!:( ## Hello, Rosa! How are you? Sorry that you're having such a problem. What kind of doctor are you seeing? If it's just a general practice physician, they are really limited now in what they can prescribe, due to the new regulations that went into effect this year. To have better options for pain management, you'll need to see a specialist. Can you ask your doctor about referring you to a pain management specialist?

wi was told it was a vicodin but it has blue spots what dose that mean ## What are the markings on the tablet? Is it UCB 902 or UCB 903? There are VIcodin tablets with these markings. The blue spots don't mean anything, just the way the manufacturer decided to make the tablet. There is also a 3594 V that has blue specks and one with the marking A 345. ## I found a white pill with black specks, does anyone know what it would be?

I have some but they or pink and white ## show me pics ## I don't have pictures to post for you, due to copyright reasons…additionally, since this medication is available as a generic, there are over 8 pages of tablets, so I couldn't possibly post the pictures and details on all of them, anyway. If you have pills that you would like identified, please post back with their description and markings on them, that is what would enable someone to check for to see what they contain. Can you please post back with more details? Thanks! Learn more Vicodin details here. This medication has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I have been told by my doctors that they don't make vicodin 5.500 any more and keep giving me 5.325 but my neighbor has the same back injury and received 5.500 is the doctors office lieing to me ## Hello, Nick! How are you? In a way they are and in a way they aren't lying. And the reason I'm saying it that way is because the FDA has put out an official request to all prescription drug manufacturers to lower the amount of Acetaminophen in all of the combination medications to no more than 325mgs per dose. They did this, due to the fact that long-term use of high doses of Acetaminophen has the potential to result in liver damage or failure, plus there have been some overdose related fatalities, since many people thinks it's harmless and would take several tablets, at a tim...

I simply want to know if I can take hydromorphine and hydrocordone together? And what would be the max dosage of each together before nausea would set in? ## Hello, Based on my research, there are no drug interactions found between Vicodin (Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone) and Dilaudid (Hydromorphone). This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. Just take the medication as prescribed, and if nausea occurs just speak with your doctor and lower the dose. Medication effects everyone differently, so you won't really know how your body will react until you try it out. I hope this helps, please post back if you have any more questions!

I am sorry for including all of this info but I am being as detailed as possible. I am a 57 year old woman. 5 years ago a swarm of bees hit our horses as our work team building trail ride crested a small mountain. I was thrown off my horse, broke my pelvis, severe damage to back & neck, and was trampled by three other horses causing organ damage and internal bleeding. Ambulance couldn't get to me so I was strapped on an ATV and bounced down the rocky slope. A medi-vac took me to a trauma center. Several days in ICU, 3 weeks hospital stay, a month stay in a rehab facility to learn to walk again. Then in-home therapy, followed by in clinic therapy for months. Repeat last two sentences for the follow up Surgeries: spinal decompression and laminectomy at L4, L5, S1 which resulted in...

I took two dilaudids and 1 vicodin how long will that take to get out of my system. I need an answer asap please!!! ## Hi Mike, Dilaudid can be detected in your urine for up to 2-4 days after your last dose. Vicodin (Hydrocodone) can be detected in your urine for up to 3-4 days after your last dose. In my opinion, if you give yourself a week, your pretty much in the clear as far as standard drug testing goes. Keep in mind though that these figures are only intended to be estimates, because everyone may detox and metabolize these drugs at different rates. I hope this info helps! ## Did you have any side effects from the mix?

how long does vicodin stay in your system. ## Determining how long Vicodin will stay in ones system is truly individualized, based on many factors. (I.E. height, weight, age, activity level, etc..). I am not an MD or medical specialist; therefore I cannot begin to asses exactly how long it would stay in your system. The above information does however play a role in how well ones body metabolizes through what is digested. To view further information regarding Vicodin, please refer to the link below... If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back so I can further assist you. ## Vicodin can stay in your system fROM 3 to 5 days, depending on the miligram's, and how many timeS a day you take them. my dr. just switched my vicodins from 5.500 pill#357 to 7.5-325 pill#366 did he up my strength or lower it ## The designation would be 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so the narcotic has been raised and the augmenting ingredient lowered. Learn more Vicodin details here. There have been a lot of concerns raised about the problems that can occur due to the Acetaminophen. It is associated with both overdose toxicity and the possibility of liver damage, or failure that might occur from long-term use of high amounts. Thus, all of the dosages of Acetaminophen in these medications are being lowered to a maximum of 325mgs per dose. Some manufacturers have already begun to implement the change and the rest are expected to have it completed by January of 2014, so your doctor is...

I've tried many Walgreens and their all out of Vicodin 7.5-750 are we experiencing a shortage? ## No, there isn't a general shortage, per se, but there are other factors that may be at play. The first is that there are limits on how much any pharmacy can order in and have in stock each month. Until recently, pharmacies weren't following such guidelines, but the DEA has started cracking down this year to make them abide by the regulations. And the second issue is that the FDA has requested that the Acetaminophen in all of these combination medications be lowered to a maximum of 325mgs per dose, due to the risk of toxicity that can be associated with overdose and the liver/damage or failure that can be caused from long-term use of high amounts. Some manufacturers have already ...

I need to know if anyone knows if Percocet is better than Vicodin for a senior citizen ## There is no set answer to give to this question. It's really going to depend on various factors, such as their overall health, other medications they may be taking and their sensitivity to such medications. Neither is really recommended over the other, but some doctors may choose to avoid both due to the Acetaminophen in them and how it can affect the liver, so they may prescribe something else entirely. Learn more Vicodin details here. Learn more Percocet details here. Which one has been prescribed?

I have 3 herniated/bulging discs in my back, RSD, fibromyalgia, was in an accident & spent 14 yrs having surgeries on my right ankle to save it (between 1977 & 1991! i had a compound fracture, bones laying outside my foot, gangrene, osteomyelitis etc.) Dr saved my foot thank God but I've been in & out of casts, leg braces, wheel chairs etc ever since yet i still worked from 1980 to 2003 while dealing with all this. Vicodin along wth methadone helps without making me so doped up I'm bed ridden but new Dr won't prescribe either so Sheens taking me off them slowly but by next month..August she will no longer give me either! taking one for tooth pain not helping can I take two is that safe every six hours ## Hi, Thinker! Sorry about the pain you're having. This is a generic for Vicodin, Norco, Lortab and others, which means that the Hydrocodone is a narcotic that carries the risk of being habit forming and side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness. Additionally, the Acetaminophen can be toxic, if too much is taken in a day, so I have to say I wouldn't recommend doubling up, unless your doctor or dentist has specifically said it's okay for you to do so. Learn more Vicodin details here. Have you consulted your dentist to have the tooth taken care of, yet? If not, then the pain will just continue to be a recurring problem, because it's not going to go away,...
