Utah, Subutex, Suboxone, Buprenorphine Need Doctor Please Help (Top voted first)
UpdatedI am looking for affordable Subutex, suboxone, buprenorphine doctor in Utah near the Salt Lake Valley or North Salt Lake, I just lost my insurance and I don't have a lot of money. I have been on subutex for 4 years and I have been without and am very very sick. I can't get out of bed and I am just trying to survive one minute at a time. If anyone can help me at all it would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
You need to go to the emergency room bring proof because they're gonna wanna know I don't know if you have old prescription bottles if you have your medical records anything that can prove that you plan on {edited for privacy}
In withdrawing from H. I need to get prescribed subutex so I can function. So I'm trying to find a Dr that deals with opiate addiction here in Provo Utah.
No, still no luck, I've looked it up. but all those websites gives me are lists and facts., none of them give me any pricing information, and what I really want are recommendations and personal experiences from real people. I've been through a lot of rude, crappy doctors, but I/m still looking!
Hey Brielle,
I heard about a clinic in Las Vegas, I know its far, but anyway it supposedly
is pretty cool. You would have to get there though.
Dr William Stein...
Not yet, no job right now, no insurance, so I'm pretty screwed right now
A website called 'TurnToHelp' helped me find doctors in Salt Lake City, UT that prescribe suboxone and subutex. It was my life savor. You're going to have to call around a lot to find what ones are accepting new clients. Try the Salson Clinic in West Jordan off 7800 s Redwood. That's where I started at. Good luck!
Foundation Medical Group just opened a clinic in American Fork, UT! They've been truly awesome to work with, and they treat patients well. Only $350 for the first visit; then the price drops for monthly checkups.
If you are interested in Suboxone/Subutex treatment, I'd definitely give them a call: (801) 876 5998
Dr Faber at spinal intervention is awesome. You deal mostly with his nurse practioner, I've never found a more understanding Dr ever especially being a former addict. Unfortunately they only want to prescribe for 12 months and I was on it for 38 months so I am now searching for a new Dr. Good luck.
Did you ever have luck finding a Buprenorphine, Subutex, Suboxone Dr. here in Provo or even close around in Utah County?
If it's a white small pill it's more than likely subutex. It's still buprenorphine just doesn't have the blocker & less expensive than suboxone.
Re: audge (# 28)
Hi Audge,
I know it's been awhile, but I was wondering if you ever found a doctor. And, not because I'm looking for one, but because I felt your desire through your posts for doctor, and quick! Hoping the best for you!
Be Blessed Beautiful People
I dont know about what happens u.s.a but in Australia people have been told that bupe or subutex is some kind of wonder treatment easy to come off ect ,from what iv experienced and witnessed is it is very hard to get off people are usually over prescribed and iv seen a lot of people turn into nervous wrecks,up one minute terribley depressed next minute.I dont know what happens if you have an accident and need pain relief ,nothing gets passed the sub or bupe !if this is the best they can do with modern medicine,i think an opiate substute would be a healthier way to go,after all opium has been used since the Pharoah period for pain relief, sometimes i think these new meds are just a money spinner for the chemical companies ,afterall who else but drug users would be perfect guinea pigs ..
Re: SunnyeRose (# 29)
Yes I was able too! Thank you. My Dr is amazing and they got me in right away
Re: audge (# 28)
Think of your baby .i dont think that would be very good for your child ,there must be better options sub an bup are pretty strange meds .
Re: SunnyeRose (# 35)
Im only going on what i have heard ,hopefully i am wrong and you are correct ,iv had friends who went through hell getting off the smallest dose of sub ,bup after being told that is easy to come off compared to methadone ,i didnt like the mood swings with sub ect ,any way good luck with it im not in usa so could be different there ,im sure if you have a good dr you and baby will be ok,i dont think it would be good trying to self medicate off the street these days, a lot of drs are not up to date with some new meds,iv seen a lot of people prescribed far too much ,if you can get away with a smaller dose as long as it holds you i think easier in the long run,i am not an expert on the subject by any means im sure you will be in safe hands, great to see your thinking of your new baby. Good luck modern medicine has come a long way in last 5yrs..
Re: SunnyeRose (# 37)
Hi Sunnyerose, im in Australia. Yes I guess I have an accent. I think you are right on regarding trying to get straight, a real lot depends on your state of mind. I have always found that if you have something to look forward to or something to replace it with really helps. You have to really want to do it. I'm getting older now but have always found if I have anything to look forward to really helps. Also some people mean well with their advice. I've actually come across people who seem a bit disappointed that you want to try and do the right thing, especially if something good is helping you get off that crazy ride! I grew up in the 70s, vietnam war, ect. It seemed to be everywhere in those days. Good times, but a lot of people didnt make it. I finally got out, had a family, live in the country. Silly me fell off a horse a few yrs ago, so now back where I started sort of. Painkillers this time. I think things hurt more when you get older. Anyway, I really hope everything is good for you! We are lucky. Enjoy your life. Humans are pretty strong I think. But now im still chasing that dam dragon. Anytime you want some advice please message me. Good luck and God bless you.
Re: SunnyeRose (# 39)

Re: SunnyeRose (# 42)
Alabama sounds like a nice place, do you like it? We get a fair bit of news from America, hope you are in a safe place with all the storm action sounds terrible, also been reading about the drug problem going on over there. seems to be big ice problem going on over here which seems to be creating a lot of problems ,i really dont know much about that, opiates use to be the main problem in australia, i think a lot of the problem is some of us are just to sensitive to this society, im beginning to not liike watching nightly news. take care.
Re: SunnyeRose (# 45)
And Lou,
It's another longer response that needed reviewing so the post about the news is jus another response I'm sending You!
So, look out for the longer response!
Hello, Brielle!
I have no way of knowing the associated costs, but you can use the search engine at Suboxone.com click here to search for doctors in your area. It also includes their contact information, so you can call them for more information.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
