Using Linzess With Success

I have suffered from constipation for over fifteen years. I have tried all the usual over-the-counter remedies for constipation and found that I was using a suppository with Miralax daily just to get minimal relief. My doctor prescribed Linzess because I was getting frustrated with the abdominal discomfort. I have been on Linzess for approximately two months now. It has definitely helped with the constipation, usually working within two hours. It is typically a very watery discharge. However, there have been a few days that I have had explosive diarrhea and several times I have had to plan my day around where the bathrooms are. There are pros and cons with taking this medication but the pros have the upper hand with me since it has given me relief.
